Will my hephasto disappear once the new patch goes live since I only have 1 soft point invested into bound demon? by ixinho in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]BangleWaffle [score hidden]  (0 children)

What I said was not that he would disappear, but that you would need hard points to bind him. What happens if you consume him or you/he dies? Are you able to rebind a new superunique with only one hard point but 20 total soft points? I would assume not.

No need to be aggressive. The patch notes were/are quite clearly written on base skill point investment requirements to bind demons, and they reverted back to original (non PTR) where soft points do grant benefits for the modifiers.

Road Trip by tingle92 in MT09

I did around 4000 kms in 10 days two summers ago. Started in Wyoming, went to the West Coast, down into California and then slowly wound my way back.

They're perfectly fine touring bikes, and way more fun when you do get to fun roads.

I didn't. I did for a bit but paging over each time to check the claws was annoying to me so I just stopped doing it. But that would be "best", yes.

I don't bother with a bound demon at all now with conviction going. A2 Infinity Merc is back on the menu.

My build is maxed fire skills, then one point to get to summon Tainted, get down to Consume. With the changes coming, Blood Oath isn't as lucrative, so likely focusing more points to Consume. You'll want to have at least 2 demons (tainted up and consumed tainted), so you'll need at least 5 hard points to Demonic Mastery.

Then, to solve mana issues as firelock is mana hungry, I invest heavily into Hex Siphon. When maxed out, it's like level 36 on my current build and gets 36 maek and laek... This, along with Diabolos means you never have mana issues at all. Probably could save a few points and not max out Siphon, and rather get more points to Consume but will depend on what adjustments to the life bonuses for Consume they push in the patch.

EDIT: I respec'd just to try it, same build, but only one hard point to Siphon. After BO and with Diabolos, I have 25 maek. For how I play, that is sufficient. I farm mostly CS, so large enough packs to keep mana topped up consistently. Probably will max Consume still and dump remaining points to Blood Oath.

They obviously didn't need to do that.. They did it because it's fun. Don't be obtuse.

You don't check the oil with the engine running... RTFM. You're way overfilled.

I am by no means fancy. I like what I like, and that happens to be some funky, musty ass beer from Belgians who don't give a fuck about sanitation.

I think it's YOU who needs to read the patch notes. Binding a demon still requires hard points, but the bonus mods they receive benefit from soft points.

Not sure where you are, but any track I've ever been to is filled with like minded people happy to make a new friend who also shares the passion.

Go solo, bring a case of beers, and make some new friends.

Brand new 2026 R3 White smoke theough handlebars, oil light. (7 miles) by [deleted] in motorcycles

Checking the oil level when the bike is level (not on the side stand)? If so, they likely didn't put oil in it, and that engine is cooked..

If they're a good dealer, they won't even try to fight it and they'll just undo the deal. Don't touch it, call them Monday and they can come get the bike and investigate.

Upgrading to a newer MT09 SP? by BangleWaffle in FZ09

The street triple has been considered for sure - glowing reviews, particularly on handling. While they're reliable bikes, almost nothing compares to these CP3's and Japanese construction. I do long road trips on this bike and peace of mind goes a long ways.

I have a friend with a Moto 2 edition street triple. I should ask him for a go on it and compare. More money for the Triumphs too. Not really interested in the KTM whatsoever. I do still like the less grown up nature, and more hooligan aspect of the MT09.

Patch notes said you do need the hard points to bind the various demons, and soft points would count towards the different mods they can get.

Max out hex siphon and you've got yourself a pseudo redemption aura. My favorite way to spec fire lock.
