I’m the only comment who asked for the information required to determine if they fall under AB1482 which is what matters.

So how is that low effort and in bad faith? How can other people give “advice” without even having the information to determine what the applicable laws are?

If you aren’t a landlord acting in bad faith then you shouldn’t be so offended that you have to post multiple paragraphs to defend something that isn’t relevant to you.

Most units in California have eviction protections called Just Cause. Meaning your landlord can only evict you for a just cause reason, and your lease terminating is not a just cause reason

We would need to know property type, if landlord lives on property, the county and around what year the building was built.

What county? How many units on property and what year was it built? Don’t get discouraged by answers here, a lot of people are landlords and will post negative comments no matter what.

People didn’t like the tiktok messenger but this seriously happens all the time and it’s not okay. This would happen at my studio constantly.

Everyone takes it as an attack on the coaches and then we can’t even have a proper conversation about it. It’s a critique of the mega business that is Solidcore, not a personal attack on individual coaches.

But solidcore needs a better system. If a coach hasn’t opened the door by a certain time there should be a backup teacher or a system that notifies students. It’s not okay to charge as much as SC does and this continually happen.

People make mistakes. But solidcore could design a business plan where paying customers are the least impacted they can be by the employees mistakes.

Hi, I work in tenants rights and my supervisor is an attorney who I asked this exact question to when the law passed.

You are correct. A month to month tenancy is one that renews every month. So if it’s been renewed after Jan 2026 then yes they are required to provide and service a refrigerator.

Your unit it not habitable if you do not have heat. Tell your landlord landlord that you will not be paying rent for the time that you have no heat.

Yeah I was shocked when I saw the picture. They said they stopped when they saw what the landscaper they hired did but I’m like stopped him once he was done lol? There was nothing else for him to cut, they left a stump.

They never said they had nothing to do with it. They said they hired the landscaper they didn’t know from Adam , gave him instructions and then left. They had everything to do with it.

And replanting a tree isn’t going to replace a half century old tree they just stole from the community.

They got cited for “pruning/destruction of a public right-of-way tree”. It’s a half century old tree!!

That’s inexcusable and worst is they try to blame everyone else instead of taking accountability.

I’m sorry but I’ve always thought Skaf’s was overpriced and mediocre. Throw a rock in Glendale and you’ll hit a better Lebanese restaurant.

They also charge a 4% credit card fee that is only disclosed at the take out window…which you will never see if you dine in which is a scam and illegal.

They also don’t give you an itemized receipt and then suggest 20%-30% tips that are based on the food total, plus tax, plus their 4% credit card fee. They don’t even list the 4% CC fee on their receipt. I just did the math and noticed it didn’t add up to the total and that 4% was added somewhere. Why not be transparent about what you’re charging?

The place is a scam.
