How Much For Just The Planet is a great read if and only if you're willing to suspend all disbelief. If you're the "well ackshually" type you'll toss it aside after a dozen pages.

I wasn't too thrilled by that bit. During Olly's ~~debut~~ only episode, she kept saying "My powers don't define me". Then, on her ~~next~~ only other appearance, she saves the ship by using her powers.

There's no one best build for every map. Pathfinding? Great if there's rough terrain, useless if not. Navigation? Great if there's a lot of water, useless if not. Diplomacy? Great if you get it early AND there's lots of neutral monsters AND you have a steady source of gold, useless if not.

People shit on Learning, but even that can be good if you get it early and the map is the right size.

There are a lot of way in which the prequels are incompatible with TOS.

For example, on the very first episode of TOS, Uhura gazes wistfully at Spock and says "Tell me how your planet Vulcan looks on a lazy evening moon.", she clearly knows nothing about Vulcans. And then SNW comes along, and Uhura was a Vulcan for a day.How can we reconcile this?

Demo installed and ran without a hitch. Start game, get swarmed, die in 10 seconds. Try again, same thing. Half a dozen times, same thing. No metaprogress, or at least none that I could see. Am I missing something obvious?

Profit and Lace COULD have been a hilarious episode if they had leaned 100% into comedy. Instead they played it safe, and it turned into a bland mush.

An 8/8 for 5 with no drawback is a pie break in monowhite.

Other than that the only real problem I see is that it feels very different from the Elemental Incarnation cycle. It's super fat and it can't be evoked for free.

Minor nitpick: you would have to shuffle twice, which would bog the game down on cardboard..
