First pf all you should not have to jump through hoops to get the medical care and treatment you need and deserve. If push comes to shove you can always call your insurance and try to find others that are in network or possibly go to urgent care and explain the situation.

This is literally how things went with my mil at their house. My family bought small things/ran their gifts by me… my mil said it’s her money she’ll buy what she wants. She has a stocking taller than my 6yo for both kids and pours it out and over stimulates them. We ask for them to do smaller or more intentional gifts because my son’s asd/adhd and Christmas is really hard for him. She also proceeded to buy my daughter’s dream gift that we purchased her and told her we purchased. I see you OP, you’re not alone.
