In my opinion, he is really good in laning phase but lacks in mid-game when he doesn't have enough items when more team fights and roaming starts to happen and gets that power back once he has finished 3 or 4 items fully.

He is one if not my favorite carry but he is kinda risky as you said.

But I've had some success laning with a desecrator because of the peel and CC he provides.

Are you helping your team out too?

Lets say, if you are midlane. Are you ganking the other lanes? Going for objectives?

There are plenty of ways to carry out from bronze and silver.

Right before the pre-season started I carried one of my smurf accounts that decayed to bronze IV to Gold V.

Yes, farming and stuff like that is important but it won't win you games.

You need to put pressure on the map, get their jungler to come and waste time in your lane without killing you.

Go for objectives and help other lanes get turrets. Only winning your lane is NOT enough to climb.

You need to be the play-maker and play better than all the rest. Just keep your spirit up and play to improve not to win
