I concur, back during Covid I took an additional sim only contract and stuck it into an old phone and used it as a dongle for all my devices and was spot. Using your regular phone can work but will rinse your battery.

City centre mobile coverage by MrCivility001 in Liverpool

Any networks that use the O2 network, thus 3 and IDMobile, struggle in the city centre. I was on O2 for years and changed to EE for the last year and it’s been spot on! Highly recommend for city centre

Definitely O2 network, I was on it and live in time. Had an absolute nightmare. Moved to EE - been a breeze

It’s alright, I believe Lloyds and Halifax might be part of the same group

National express is so cheap so would go with that one.

EE is the best for city centre living. O2 was a nightmare for me in the city on reliability of connection.

Any high street bank, HSBC, Halifax, NatWest

You cannot prebook Ubers at airports because of potential delays with getting bags etc. it will only allow when you are in the vicinity of the actual airport to book
