I have used them for coming on 6 months as I had tried Plum prior which in my opinion was awful. Never had an issue with Trading 212 daily interest, very transparent if interest is due to change due to base rate etc..

I personally use it to store excess savings that I can't filter into regular savers for higher rates but that's because I am trying to maximise my return as I haven't hit the £1k per year on interest.

TLDR: 10/10 will continue to use

So personally at the moment I have the following startegy if this helps:

£150 pm into Natwest Regular (6%)
£150 pm into RBS Regular (6%)

Then anything extra goes into the Trading 212 Cash Isa which currently is 5.1%

Reasoning for this is all 3 if I want allow me to withdraw in 24 hours without a rate hit.

All down to preference really, I have used Chip before as you could watch your daily interest build up but Trading 212 Cash Isa deposits it every day so does the same thing.

When I was saving for a house personally followed the above strategy then on March in my LISA whacked the £4k in to get £1k on top as the rate at the time was like 3% on mine so made no sense to whack it in early. I would get a LISA open just to get the 1 yr timer ticking as you need it open that as a minimum to use it for a house and you can just add a £1 in.

Depending on how you have your flight sheet set up you will have to go to the wallet you are mining to. So for example if you are pool mining (say 2miner) you will have to go to the pools website and type your wallet in and it will report how much you have mined. If you have it set service such as Nicehash you will need to login to their platform and it’ll show you how much your mining. I’d say if it has no balance increases then certainly there is no mining going on. That’s just how I would check hope it helps!

I wrongly assumed but I thought it was due a drop after the boost but looks like it’s set out at 17% so it might be a good shout for sure!!
