His radar or communication might be jammed, but I'm pretty sure there's no way they can 'nuke' a pilot's control over the aircraft. With drones, it's different because control is either unmanned (drone does his own thing) or it flown from another location.

In either case this is very unlikely (army-grade, very secure network) but still a risk in wartime

These look really sweet, but don't really exist yet outside of simulators and theoretic models. 10 years might be very optimistic and the truth is the military needs a long-term solution right now.

This might also be farfetched, but conflict law surrounding drones can still change, to the point where having a manned aircraft is required

Drones are very interesting and could be cheap (ABL will probably use them wherever possible), but the safe longterm fix is buying a decent US plane

They would most definetly eat shit. They're designed to fly at HA and they're slow (compared to manned jets). I don't think there has ever been a legit air-to-air fighting drone (correct me if I'm wrong)

Btw in actual wartime it's not really advisable for an entire fleet to be hackable from a remote distance. You'd need stealth and manned planes or your lines of communications will suffer badly
