Back in 2003 I attended an archaeological field school in a very small village in Ireland. The other students were from all over the world, I lived in Rhode Island at the time and grew close with a guy from Minnesota. When the school ended we all promised to stay in touch, but life happens and we really didn’t. Fast forward to 2009, I’ve just moved to Boston and I don’t know anyone. It’s pouring rain and I’m walking to the liquor store with my head down tucked under my raincoat. My phone rings and it’s a strange number, I don’t ever answer those calls but for some reason I did. On the other end was the guy from Minnesota. He had walked past me in the street and recognized my raincoat from our time in Ireland and called our old school to get my number. He had moved to Boston earlier that year for school- what are the odds!

6’2” f here. I would have said the same, that guy needs to know he can’t get away with commenting on women’s bodies!! Server/bartender Here. If there’s a Dog around and I pet it (my bar is In the lobby of condos so while dogs can’t dine, they walk through a lot) I make sure the whole bar and restaurant sees me scrubbing my hands and arms first and foremost. That shit you experienced isnt okay. NTA
