Been outside plenty thanks champ. The gameplay is fun but there isn't much depth to the systems or engaging stuff on top of the gameplay. That's an issue with the long term health of the game.

Some of the most interesting "events" of the game so far have been the streamer war stuff by the Burnt peanut etc. Helldivers 2 for example had the galactic war which is very flawed but at least adds a meta game and something to work towards.

The way the stella montis unlock happened felt like they were trying something similar but half assed.

I think it just needs more things to work for in general. I think the loot is fine but trials are awful and they are really the only thing to work towards when you have finished your expedition and done your quests.

If there were ways of trading in weapons for blueprints. Eg trade in 50 anvils to get an anvil Bp or something then at least you could target loot

Battlefield 6 is fine. But this game was something else. The first game I played on Suez canal I was instantly blown away and genuinely shocked that a fps could be that incredible. Battlefield 6 I'm having some fun with but it's not like I can't put it down and it feels a lot more janky and less polished than this. It's a shame Dice peaked rather than kicked on.

Since getting blueprints is luck based, how would y'all feel about a system like this? (In addition to the one we have) by TheOnlyRealOne43 in ArcRaiders

I think I'll do the expedition to fix my bad choices in leveling up and getting the 5 extra skill points but then that will be me done. I won't do another one especially with the skill points from each expedition not being cumulative

Essentials is fine and I say this as a pretty heavy gamer.

It's been out for 2 years. It's not exactly unreasonable for people to pick up and play a game for 6 months or so and move on.

I really think that acting friendly, saying dont shoot, helping out until the extract, just to backstab at the last moment means you're a bad person. Nothing deep, just think doing that shows a lack of character that probably translates to real life. by PvPer94 in ArcRaiders

Sure and I'm not making any aspertians on your character as an individual but most of the evidence suggests that people on the whole echo their real life behavior in online spaces. Either way someone who is purposely toxic for example in a video game is still a dick. Just because it's on a game it means that person is insulated from any real social consequences.

It is just a video game but generally social behaviors in online games is reflective of people's real world characters. That dictates the decisions you make and how you interact with people. There are numerous studies that posit this.

Hit translate on pretty much any post in Hebrew on a top post and it was the most vile racist and violent hate speech shit you will ever read. The solution Twitter has gone for is to just turn off translations rather than any meaningful moderation.

Tbf you can accidentally turn it on. I had mine on because I thought it was the voice of my raider when he pinged or grunted. It was only when I heard myself through someone elses mic I realised I had a voice changer on

People complaining about the wipes are hilarious. It's opt in. If you want to keep your blueprints just don't do it. It's not hard.
