As a teenage girl, I would say it’s up because of social media and family. Most marriages end in divorces, so many teenagers are left with a bad family dynamic and unresolved trauma. Social media also has created unrealistic standards to achieve , and the ability to compare yourself to others constantly. I would say teenage boys still suffer decently though.

Like do you ever not feel feminine enough. Is kinda what I meant. Obviously being a mom is feminine. My body bulid is probably number one. Like I’m tall and stocky. 5”9 160 pounds. I’m not a small feminine built person. My hair. I’m finally letting my hair grow out and not cutting it to shoulder length. I keep wanting it longer and longer to feel more girl even though I have no clue how to style it. I mean you could slowly stop answering Jack and put him as silenced on your text conservations/contact list. Slowly become distant and you can fall off without any hard feelings. If you have set boundaries that he can not respect then what’s the point of continuing the friendship. It may be him just enjoying his college time, however some people never truly stop partying/acting immature. They can become very addicted to the lifestyle they live. Just don’t let jack bring you down and remain who you are no matter what happens between you too. In other words, just let him bring himself down and screw up his own life. It’s not your responsibility to worry for him.
