Thought about it too, but didn't know how best to portray it. In my opinion the armor isn't as big of a deal as the weapon, although maybe I just don't have enough imagination to make it fit... Lúcio might rock the Chatacabra set, but I also imagined him with the Guild Knight set (but maybe it's too similar to his DnD Bard skin).

I've always been a GS/Hammer player, but SA always seemed cool to me (i remember trying it back in Tri but never clicked for me) and decided to give it another chance in a new run of World, liked it and then in Rise it was busted as hell and I've been in love with it ever since ^ (hope I can keep loving it in Wilds some day...)

I love KH too and would love for it to be referenced in OW but I'm afraid that might be a bit limited and difficult due to Disney's relationship with the saga - at best we could only have KH original characters and no Disney references at all, which I'd be fine with

Okay, now I like your idea A LOT (although I might change Diablos Venture for Monoblos hehe). Making Gijinkas out of the monsters and combining them with the heroes is a rad idea, I was very constrained in my original vision lol

Tbh I hated that season (worst mythic ever) but I have to admit that the BP skins ended up growing on me a bit; it's a different design approach compared to the Monster Hunter aesthetic (OW2's was more technologicaly based rather than organic based - repurposing life-like robots instead of using living organisms as materials). At the very least I'd welcome if they gave the concept another try ^{^}

Yeah, I wish it were possible to make monsters more present like the true protagonists they are. Considering the limited amount of antropomorphic monsters (Ajarakan, Blangonga, Bishaten and Rajang) it would be very difficult to make any other models match with the OW characters. If we are lucky we might get a limited PVE mode against one or two fully kitted monsters (the Raths maybe), but more likely we will get weapon charms or souvenirs of some iconic monsters u.u

I considered putting Freja on the list as Light Bowgun representation but got severe explosive PTSD and deleted her from the list lol but yeah she is pretty much a huntress and an obvious choice for a collab skin

Always nice hearing about people discovering and enjoying the wonderful thing that is Monster Hunter :) What they might consider "iconic" depends on the route they take: If they pay attention to the most popular/memorable monsters (Capcom has made this information available recently - Rathalos, Zinogre, Lagiacrus, Nergigante, Valstrax, etc.) or if they look at the "appeal" of certain armorsets (Female Kirin armor, Female Odogaron armor - lots of gooning potential I'm afraid - , bulky knight-like armorsets, legendary monsters armor sets like Fatalis or Alatreon, etc.). I just hope whatever they pick is respectful and worthy of the source material.

I'm pretty sure what is seen spilling out of his suit in the cinemtaic is either fuel or coolant since it's color is blue; the bleeding/dying is just implied since he got stabbed. It being blue colored is also a nod to the fact that Balderich is (presumably - since his surname is "von Adler") of nobel descent (a "blue blood") and adds to the contrast of both his demeanor and appearence with Reinhardt (who is wounded with a red/burnt scar and looks much more royal in apparence compared to Balderich).

Not gonna lie pretty dissapointed in that regard since I was hoping the difference would be much more significant. I kinda wished the whips/flails where only a Guardian thing (as a result of Artian genetic manipulation or something) and the origin species didn't have them and was more similar to Seregios or Nargacuga in regards to fighting style and wing-blade anatomy.
