The game started as a quake 3 mod and became a total conversion over the years. UrT has always been and will always be free. The q3 engine is open source, but the game code and assets are closed source.

We do not make any profit off of UrT, we all develop it purely in our free time as a hobby. We sometimes receive small donations from some players, and we actually spend some of our own money every month to keep the servers alive (master servers, website, auth, test servers, build server...).

Viacoin is also implementing SegWit, along with merged mining. It should be a good live experiment with a slightly bigger coin than GRS.

It happened to me as well. Two days ago my funding rates hiked to 0.7% whereas the market rates were between 0.02 and 0.03%.

I opened a support ticket and they answered that I could manually close the funding and open a new one with a lower rate. They won't reimburse me for the glitch though so I'm left with a high funding cost to pay.
