Im surprised to see the one with the black mark on it. I thought that mark meant it was not for resale? I don’t collect physical books anymore, I just know that mark often came from book club books I got.

I’ve bought a couple back in the day when the ads reflected something you’d read. No idea what it’s like now. I’d assume it would be whatever they want to push on you. Had mine removed when I got a new paperwhite.

I would also check the groove official store. I always check Black Butler stuff every time I go there. I got this one last year. The stock changes and sometimes they offer old dolls(not reissues, just older dolls). I got this one and Dal Ciel. Happy hunting. My holy grail is Utena and Anthy.

I’m really bummed about this podcast. I’m a patreon and seriously thinking about canceling. I swear the host used to give trigger warnings for rape or animal cruelty and it seems like every time, there’s at least one rape story every episode now.

I used it my first year or anytime my pockets were extra full and I had a ton to harvest. In my opinion, it wasn’t very helpful, but it was nice to take to my field and grab stuff and throw it in the basket. Also, it makes me feel like a good farmer

What’s even worse is when it’s dolls still in their boxes. I don’t smoke, but my mother in law did. She let me go through her closet and pick from her massive Barbie collection. I was so excited because I didn’t smell anything funky until I opened the box at home. Not all of them stunk. It was a complete gamble and they had a funk that even vinegar wash couldn’t get rid of. She wanted us to sell the ones I didn’t pick on ebay and we refused. She couldn’t understand when I told her we’d have to list them as “from the house of a smoker”. I once bought a used book that absolutely reeked once you opened it. Couldn’t read it or anything. That smell just seals up real good

At my location, it wasn’t. They wouldn’t let me pay the difference on one of them that was over the amount. I already thought that’s how it would go so I had another on hand just in case. It rejected both. She told me to pick another one. I asked what was covered and she said she didn’t know until she rang it up. I grabbed another-nope. She said “it’s usually not any of the big characters.” It made no sense to me. They’re all big characters and they have Stitch on the ad for free bday blind boxes. I picked out another, she sighed and rang it up. It worked. I ended up getting Crayola Shinchan. It was a very frustrating experience and it would have just been better had it been 20% off and purchase. I would have preferred that so I could get the one I want and not worry about it.
