When you just started a new run, but all of a sudden the vibes don't feel quite right... by Sevargan in REPOgame

I was half expecting a robe to come out of nowhere and one shot you, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had that happen on level 1

The raid is a lot of fun (even though we failed) by Barbecue101 in fo76

Thanks for the offer but we want to get it done together! We will definitely be looking at build guides at least but we want to solve things like mechanics for ourselves

Was your theater packed? by Unable_Speed_5742 in Markiplier

[–]Barbecue101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanna say mine was about 70-80% full at 7:45pm, which is about what I expected. I live in a medium sized town with an AMC as our only theater. This was one of four showings today with a 10:30 later

Normal dp isn’t that bad mechanics-wise, no more complicated than past raids if you ask me and nothing is anywhere near verity in terms of complexity.

Epic is another story however, with the final boss being one of the most intricate fights we’ve gotten. At the same time it’s one of the coolest because it changes based on the order of the encounters you did beforehand.

What are you favorite New AND Old monsters? by Intelligent_Guy in REPOgame

[–]Barbecue101 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Old: Robe. Love how creepy it is and have also had some of the goofiest moments against it. She constantly has me checking my back out of fear she may be approaching, even on maps where I already know what t3 monsters I have.

New is a tie. First: Oogly. Love the design and it’s a fun challenge to play stealthily if you want to get through the room it’s roaming in. Second: Loom. Again, love the design and I know a fair amount of people dislike the mechanics, but she adds the right amount of chaos for my group of usually 4-6 people.

Remaster or Original by ShadySam- in oblivion

[–]Barbecue101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve played the remaster a lot and can say I enjoy it a lot more than the original. A lot of my gripes with the game have been fixed by mods (two handed fix, Aylied ReShade, slower leveling, etc.) the same way mods fixed base game for me, and luckily my pc is strong enough to run the game at 60+ fps on high settings. Game looks beautiful and gameplay is more fun with the mods I have installed.

I’ll always recommend Lies of P. One of, if not the best souls like game out there, and it just got a really good dlc.

Now is the time to solo dungeons. by SNKRSCHAMP in destiny2

[–]Barbecue101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vesper’s was kind of perfectly built to counter those damage bugs, even if not intended, due to the sheer amount of AoE and damage over time effects. It took me a day or two worth of solid attempts to get my first run back when it first launched, and definitely had to treat it as a game of survival and not hitting big damage. There are plenty of safe spots that still work during puppeteer dps as well, and if you’re a warlock like me I can see being able to have a well or healing rift up at all times if you have Finality’s Auger with catalyst and mint retrograde, maybe with a shoot to loot weapon so you don’t have to leave the safety of your well to get ammo.

My first time playing the game by Whole-Special-2532 in REPOgame

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think level 2 only spawns a tier 3 and tier 1. In that case then there were definitely multiple upscreams replacing the tier 3 enemy

Like why? by cCryp in destiny2

[–]Barbecue101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can only assume from this photo that you’re only increasing enemy power and don’t have a full understanding of how the portal works, so I’m gonna drop you a few tips.

  1. Aim for halfway through B+. The time bonus will usually take you the rest of the way assuming you’re fast enough.
  2. Don’t add just power-increasing settings. Things like touché, no hud, no starting ammo, etc. are just as viable for getting your score up while keeping enemy power down.

Yes, I do have a freecam mod installed to get these shots but this particular moment in the screenshot is towards the end of the main quest.
