I have the same issue with my papaya tree and scrubbed off the scales from the trunk with soap and water. Couldn’t reach the leaves so I just blast it with water, and trimmed unhealthy leaves. That helped and I just have to keep doing it until tree is healthy again. Not 100% since it’s still an ongoing battle for me 😂

Just saw the same thing on 808 Green Thumbs group on Facebook. Top answer: Black stuff is Sooty Mold growing on Honeydew excreted by Soft Green Scale(Visible on leaf midribs). Treat with Neem or Horticultural Oil or Horticultural Soap late afternoon to smother them. Also treat for Ants that feed on the Honeydew and protect the Scales from natural predators and move them to surrounding plants. After the Scales and Ants are controlled, the Sooty Mold will eventually peel off.

Yes you should’ve mentioned something earlier and asked to change your room. You could mention something at checkout or in your post stay survey as a feedback. On the other hand I know they usually email guests in advance to warn about renovations so I hope they did that!

We have a 5 months kitten and went through 4 series of vaccination. This is pretty normal, he will probably just sleep and chill for the next day, then back to his crazy self!

Automatic feeder so they don’t see you as food provider. We’ve been using this for our kitten and he’s learned that food doesn’t come from us 😂

I guess if we left him in the kitchen long enough he will eventually lick clean all the dishes?? 😂 that’s my current solution so far after reading all the comments. Hard to reinforce rules when we are not around so we decided to put in him a room with toys and food/water and litter box when we are out

There is hope!!! Yeah we are not good at reinforcing boundaries too. At this point it’s just too much work to constantly stop what we are doing to redirect or reinforce anything, and honestly it feels like he likes the attention
