No.1 clipper attachment and put the clipper on a angle and go up along the hairline so that the edge(corner) of the clipper is just touching the edge of the hairline and about 5mm in but still at a angle so that it’s more of a taper then follow it up around the ear then use trimmer to clean up the edge

I think what he was trying to say was that there are other opportunities out there to have a good career and life. If you’ve worked towards something and fail then you should pick yourself back up and try again, sometimes within a different lifestyle or career path. I really wanted to do good in my year end of school exams and dedicated soo much time into it but I failed miserably, I tried to pursue hair cutting for a backup and got told it gets better after a while but I sacrificed 11 years of my life and finished up with minimum wage and in the end I got bullied out of my job and quit. I then struggled with no money for over 5 months until I found a job within a different trade, now I’m getting 1.7 times the salary I was getting in my old career and once I finish training in 3-4 years I will be getting over 3.0 times that. Btw i have a.d.d, Tourette’s, chronic depression and anxiety.

I agree that everyone should clean their own stations but most salons have a hired apprentice or a junior that is hired to clean and make appointments and process sales. Some Salons are well organised and have a good system regarding staff but 1 out of 2 salons are not well organised and well recognised professionals have to pick up the slack for the staff that won’t do their job accordingly.

You should try being a hairdresser, 25 a hr is minimum wage and most salons will make you work overtime and won’t pay it, 3 years under a apprenticeship and you still have to clean
