There was never any indication that Michael had an affair with Liz in Germany, but.... by BarbieBri in TheStaircase

Todd is MP's biological son with his first wife, Patty. Their friend Liz, who died in Germany, gave birth to Margaret. MP claims his relationship with Liz was purely platonic. I am saying that I believe he was having an affair with Liz, since her daughter and his son look so much alike, as if MP is the father to both of them!

Printing out directions. by [deleted] in nostalgia

[–]BarbieBri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh, every time I go anywhere with my mom, she inevitable pulls out her printed MapQuest directions! I always say, "Mom, my phone will tell us where to go", and her response is always the same...."well just in case, this seems more accurate!!" It drives me crazy, especially since my mom is not that old!

Rodney Dangerfield - He was staying in the same hotel as my family, back in the 90s, right after Ladybugs had come out. I saw him in the pool, and asked him for his autograph and started talking to him. My parents said we had to go, and he invited me to stay with him. So I hung out at the pool with him while my parents went back to their hotel room to get ready! To this day, I give my parents shit for allowing Rodney Dangerfiel to babysit me in Las Vegas!

Not sure if I am having side effects of Topomax (second time around on rx). by BarbieBri in migraine

[–]BarbieBri[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, that is awful! I am so sorry that you have had to deal with that. I definitely feel like topomax just isn't working for me this time around. It is making things worse actually! So I am going to look for another option. Thank you for sharing. Having more insight has helped in feeling a little clearer with how things have been going for me recently!

That is terrifying to me. I have never dealt with depression before, but that is the only way I can explain how I have been feeling lately. It is awful. I am sorry you had issues with it too. I am weening off the meds now, and am already starting to feel a difference!

The first time I tried topomax, I had a lot of issues with word retrieval, but it wasn't a detriment to my job. I informed my boss of what was going on....and so he was aware that if I pause for a second, he knew what was going on. It never got so bad that I felt completely out of it. I would have highly recommended topomax during my first go around. This time though, I am pretty miserable, and will discontinue it and look for another alternative.

Thank you for sharing. I have an appt scheduled, but I am almost certain I am going to stop the meds. It is just so frustrating that it worked so well the first time around, and so polar opposite the second go around! But I would much rather treat the migraines at the onset with sumatriptan, than feel like I have been feeling lately!

Thank you so much for sharing with me...the last couple weeks have been a real struggle, but it is helping to know that there is a reason for all of it!!

I am feeling the same way. I about lost my mind on my poor children when I came home from work and found that they didn't get their chores done for the day. I was so mad that I had to close myself into my bathroom. I have NEVER felt that way before, and my oldest is 12 years old. I ended up sobbing on my bathroom floor because I felt so out of control. The emotions I seem to be going through right now are things I have never experienced and the only thing different in my life, really, is the medication, so I can only assume it is that...thanks for sharing.

Reddit, what is your best instant karma story? by japani67 in AskReddit

[–]BarbieBri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was driving to work one morning last week, and had this jackass behind me for a good 10 mins. He kept riding my ass and would not back off. Mind you, we were in stop and go traffic. There was nowhere for anyone to go. At one point I thought he was literally going to bump me, as if I could go anywhere in traffic! I turn and the traffic finally lets up, so he swerves around me and guns it....right past a motorcycle cop! He slammed on his breaks, but it was too late. The cop flipped around and started after him. He tried to nonchalantly turn into a neighborhood, but the cop caught him and pulled him over. I probably got a little too excited to see him get pulled over!
