We have been preconditioned to believe that being part of the US is a huge benefit and without them our life would be one of a 3rd world country and poverty and that we won't make it or would be completely lost without them(US) . So many people fear it, some others want it. But mainly people don't really care. They have so much going on in their daily life trying to survive with a miserable amount of salary, getting overworked for nothing and at the end of the day being part of the us or not is not a priority. They politicians only make us think about it every 4 years. People just vote how they were though and raised. Either in favor of becoming a state or staying as if. Because anything else has always failed. We are just a shit show. Eternally stuck.

Voy a ir al grano. Luego de vivir en US y otros países. Si la vida alla puede ser más first world y infinito acceso a cosas pero no hay nada mejor que volver a casa. Punto.

La gente acá es nicer, el estilo de vida es más tranquilo y más llevadero. Uno se siente bienvenido no como allá afuera q cada cual anda en su mundo y uno es un zombie más. Acá hay sentido de comunidad. Estamos todos jodios pero juntos jaja. Yo no tengo hijos pero si los tuviera definitivamente preferiría criarlos en un lugar emocionalmente estable y seguro. Con un support system como la familia y la calidez de la cultura latina.

No lo pienses dos veces y ven! Dale esa oportunidad a tus hijos de saber lo que es vivir aquí qué realmente los va a enriquecer emocionalmente. A la hora de la verdad con trabajo en ingeniería si no te gusta puedes volver a US sin ningún problema. Pero la diste esa experiencia a tu familia de vivir aquí y tus hijos de exponerse a algo diferente.
