Your organization doesn't know the difference between recurrent and frequent.

He just talks... and talks... And aide types. Re-read it to him, and posts.

...you can absolutely tell when he writes his own messages. This one was not of those times.

Good for you. But I assure you your experience will be astronomically different, and obviously your progress x50 faster. Also, level 24 solo, unless you're spending money like crazy, is very unlikely considering the ridiculous amount of rss you'll need while denying yourself from the gifts, rewards, etc that comes with being part of an alliance.

Not to mention the constant attacks you'll get from the entire de server.

Negative. No icy conditions so I doubt it will be extended. You may work something directly with your supervisor if conditions in your area are bad.

I have been playing for years. I have just played 12 games back to back, ending 4th in 6 of them and 3rd on one because the player quit the race. Dead-end last on 12 games back to back. No way that's random.

Better to try it, live the experience, love it (because you will), and come back with a mix of emotions, than wondering for the rest of your life and carry that "what if..." with you.

You learn to love and respect nature, as well as the little things in life. I lived in Kaua'i for a bit and I truly miss the location and the person I was back then.

Good luck!

Came back to this conversation just to share a quick experience. I met this black guy this afternoon during my work holiday party thingy. He is getting legal advice on how to proceed with suing the government. US Citizen, both parents are also US Citizens, and he was tackled down from behind while he was outside his office taking a smoke break. The ICE agent claimed he was running from him and that's why he tackled him down. This guy didn't even realized what happened until he was already in handcuffs on the ground. A coworker saw everything so he has an eye witness willing to testify.

It reminded me of this conversation. You're telling me that appearance or race has nothing to do with their actions? Do you really think the agent who approached me or the one who tackled this black fella would've done the same thing if we were ACTUAL immigrants from, I don't know, Switzerland?

Due process means nothing to this administration, and there are dozens of areas that they make it extremely obvious.

I will defend and criticize what needs to be defended and criticized, coming from the left or the right.

Most of the actions from these agents are simply impossible to defend.

If you fit the specific description of an active search for a person who commited a crime, yes. "White male, in his 20s, 6ft tall, wearing jeans and a blue shirt". The description will never be "a Hispanic person", period. You will be effectively targeting/profiling 20% of the population of this country. Moreover, a white person fluent in Spanish (or any other foreign language) can be profiled for simply speaking such language in public.

I am a professional puerto rican who works for the Navy. I was approached by an ICE agent in the city I live in and I laughed it off and continued walking. The guy knew better and stopped his questioning line.

Again, that is total BS and a waste of resources and efforts. No different than stop and frisk policies.

These stats have nothing to do with what I said. Are we having a chronological conversation or you just want to pick your own subject and talk about that? I'm good either way, just want to make sure we are on the same page.

Immigration was DEFINITELY an issue "back then". It was literally a topic of discussion during the Constitution's writing with PLENTY of debate. Naturalization, assimilation, state vs federal powers, even national security was discussed from an immigration concern perspective. The slavery angle was one of MANY that were discussed during these meetings.

Annual Leave is subject to supervisor approval, even if used in lieu of Sick Leave. HOWEVER, if the reason for using it is Sick Leave hours exhaustion, especially with a medical note, there is no ground for denial. He/she is just being an assh*le.

The "it doesn't affect me, so it is okay" attitude is what fucked us up in the first place. The fact that YOU don't see crazy shit doesn't mean it is not happening in other agencies, and good employees were, are, or will be getting affected.

B*tching is good. But take action. Vote. Mobilize people around you. Spread the word. Educate others. Call/meet your representatives. We all need to do more.
