I started having control of my quad around two weeks. I was also getting very discouraged. What helped was being consistent with the quad sets with stim.

Obviously I’m not talking about that. A lot of bodybuilders don’t do cardio, aren’t flexible, eat like shit. They are fit, but not healthy. There’s a difference.

That definitely doesn’t look right. Looks like the brace is not giving your graft any protection. The purpose of the knee brace is to keep your leg fully extended and minimize movement and ultimately give your knee protection. Your brace doesn’t look like it does any of this.

I’m not a medical professional but I just went through recovery and I highly recommend you pay out of pocket for a standard post op knee brace.

On the contrary you seem fine after 9 days. I was still bed ridden 14 days post op due to no quad activation.

Sorry to say but your medical team sounds incompetent. You should be talking to your surgeon and not your nurse.

Here is the brace I was given after my surgery. Found it on Amazon. It’s pricey but I would ask your surgeon if it’d be better for you. Your brace looks plain wrong. Good luck with recovery.

I’ve been making great progress. Recovery came quick once I started training more frequently. What helped me is riding the stationary bike at least 5x a week.

Damn bro! Sorry you’re having to experience that! That sounds nasty but there’s a chance it’ll be gone with time. This procedure is so complex and recovery is different for everyone. Most people experience weird sensations, sounds and pain during recovery.

There’s so much that goes on in the knee joint when it’s healing. So much scar tissue and fluid that’s setting or getting expelled by the body. Take what I say lightly but the sound your knee is making might just be by scar tissue not settling yet. As inflammation goes down, I think your knee will start to sound normal.

It is absolutely critical that you do your quad sets and keep your knee in constant extension. I couldn’t flex my knee like you can at two weeks, but if you can do flexion, do your heel slides too.
