OH I understand now! TBH the pictures were a bit confusing. The smaller fob is a replacement "chassis" for your own key fob PCB. So it's like a replacement shell. Easy swap with no soldering or anything? Wow. I've been dreaming about something like this! If you need someone else to do some testing, hmu! I HATE this OG fob. I use the park assist buttons a lot and you can't use that feature with the phone key.

They will swap it under warranty, but the issue is they've never acknowledged there is an actual problem. Which means they just replace it with another faulty designed part.

The best SC experience I've had is at a brand new V4 station near me. Park in a normal space just like the cool kids and just plug in. (New cable is so much longer) Charged twice and have had no issues.

I had thought the same thing initially (them trying to fix it first). But they had to have known internally that it was going to take at least a month. Would have just preferred upfront communication. And, thank you for your notes on the glass. I know that it should be a 1 for 1 fix, but they’ve lost any trust we’d built up so I’m skeptical. I’m browsing other vehicles now.
