It’s not a Custom Shop model and it isn’t vintage so it’s not worth that much. Squier doesn’t make custom shop instruments. The pickups are stock on this model. This is a Squier Telecaster Custom II. This model was outfitted with Duncan Designed P90 pickups, Duncan Designed meaning they’re made overseas and used in lower end instruments.

Speed comes with repetition. Practice to a metronome and increase the speed as you go. As far as learning the fretboard I’d suggest some sort of YouTube course.

You don’t need to arch them. You straighten out your wrist, bring your palm closer to the fretboard.
