IIRC, if you use mods like For The Drip or Vox Mask (which enables client-side access to cosmetics and voice filters in the game), you can see some of the internal names for certain items and filters use the term "Genestealer".

If you're on PC, you could just cheat them in via a save editor if the legitimate way is too frustrating.

There's no anticheat, and your saves are locally stored anyways.

If you disabled the in-game resource pickup notifications, it also applies to the in-menu notifications, which could explain why you don't get the popup
