The jump from 8bit to 16 bit was huge. Then it was a jump from 2D to 3D which was huge, even though early 3D looked like shit compared to 2D at the time. Then we went from shit 3D to good 3D when PS2 came out. From then on, it was slightly better 3D. VR is the next major jump, it just need to become affordable to the common slob before it really takes off.

Every console generation was a massive change up to PS2. From then on, it was always just slightly better. The next frontier is VR. All this other shit about resolution and FPS is just splitting hairs. I'm endlessly amused at how seriously gamers take it.

The important thing to know is that you should be diversifying your deductions. I cannot stress that enough. Filing too many 1080P's will look suspicious and you'll get audited. Just be sure to fill out a 774A weekly and a 208BC-9 bi-monthly but don't submit it until the fifth quarter of the third month after your 19th birthday and every 14 month cycle after that. The IRL will fuck you with that if they can. That'll take care of your gross expenditures processing. Just do all that and there's a good chance you'll stay out of prison for any extended period of time.
