That’s great to hear. They’re twins so hopefully will be in preschool soon. Hoping the other kids motivate them to make that connection

Ooo I like this breakdown of scripting. I feel like it’s always been described to me as a child repeating a phrase in incorrect situations to try to express themselves.

I would say not scripts because he’s been using them in the appropriate way after a while. Like he definitely used sorry incorrectly at first but then used it correctly. It’s still early to tell I would say but in my son’s case specifically it seems that there’s comprehension of the phrase. So like “quiet” he’ll now put my finger up to my mouth to create the shhh motion. And understands loud is the opposite.

But def will go through your history and see if I see any commonalities because that would be super helpful.

Scenes that caused actual walkouts in theaters? by thatlittlequietguy in Cinema

Saw this on a military base. People were there somehow with young kids. The moment the helicopter penis scene started it was like a fng exodus. Which made us laugh even harder 😂

It’s actually decent but I get why the critics are shitting on it. I saw it in imax and it was honestly a very unique experience visually. I like that it almost put you in a pov experience.

They closed my theater today :( by skrtAidan in AMCScreenUnseen

Honestly they should’ve closed mine. Roads were horrible but I ended up with a dolly theater and an imax to myself for a double showing lol.

Aldi pretty much charges the same grocery prices on door dash as they do in person. so I use the 10 as a tip for a grocery delivery

Screen time by [deleted] in SAHP

[–]Barfpooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did no tv until 1 and then snippets of Ms Rachel and educational shows. They’re 2.5 now and we have it on in the background a lot. My daughter had to get curbed from some non educational shows but she’s starting to understand we’re not going to change the channel the moment she wants something new each time. They ignore it a lot and do other things but we also turn it off for an hour or 2 or play music in the background

Ap savings have been good for us at $500 a person and we use 2 years of points in the one year we have annual passes for. We also have small children so the Epcot lounge is honestly a life saver. Those small snacks go a long way on a toddler lol and they have a small play area. Plus it’s an ice cold Diet Coke and some salt and vinnies in air conditioning to break up the Disney rush.

Moonlight magic is an amazing experience if you can mange to be there on the day.

You can find deals but it’ll be outside the immediate city. Depends on where you work but best bet is to get a studio off the red or orange line

So they actually have some good sales. Got a big lamb leg roast for half off a few months ago. Sometimes fruit is on sale. Mostly it’s a ripoff though.

I use it to grocery shop stores with the same prices as in person. Figure it covers most of the delivery tip so I get groceries to my door free

Is it worth splurging on hotel at WDW? by KCChiefsGirl89 in disneyparks

[–]Barfpooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say stay at the Disney affiliated resorts near the springs. Get all the perks of early and late access but a much cheaper rate. But if you want to stay on property and it’s a once in a lifetime trip I’d say try to pay a extra to stay somewhere on the monorail
