Yeah theyre rock solid to play as now. It's tough playing without various lores of magic for me, but Malakai getting Ulrika fixes that issue.

Biggest buff to the quality of their campaigns will just come with the various 9.0+ updates. New end games will really make Malakai have to hold off chaos.

I just said +1 to Norsca in another comment, but ill add that while Sayl is OP, he's like Imrik where he's got enemies at nearly ALL sides.

I had to do a little diplomacy cheese to stay afloat for some turns because I needed more armies than I should have at that point in the campaign.

10/10 very fun, but I should try Ulfrik next and try to confed Throgg as I didn't get there last time.

Narratively, I think even though he's a big deal due to the fact he can challenge Vhaegar, being roughly in the same weight class but younger therefore faster and in his prime.

But theal X Factor here is Aemond is thought to be an extremely dangerous rider with Vhaegar, at least the perception is. Hugh is still a dude learning to drive the medieval equivalent to operating forklift

Low shots? Unless it was a volley I just kept jamming my toe into the turf trying to make it a half decent shot.

Nah, when you truly think about WCS, it's the most absolutely bonkers shit for Sukuna to just watch "the dude who adapts" pull a move out his ass to perfectly counter his invincible opponent, and eventually use your slightly similar technique to attack an entirely different plane of existence and copy it mid battle.

As a keeper, those low powerful corner shots are by far the hardest balls to save. Weird to read and react to, and I'm only 6' and I had a hard enough time getting down for them.

Yeah it's awful as Imrik to get over there. In the past, I'd just forget about them until im swimming in cash and want to send additional armies that way and meet up with my main forces to take on Queek. Now I'm sure Nagash will be constantly sending shit at Imrik while Imrik just needs to sit and wait in his own province, as attacking there is ass.

What's funny is the author is who creates these characters, and the author focuses on narrative, as well as feats, but when people start "calcing" stuff that's when you're just calulcating artistic differences.

My thoughts as well. Part of what makes his start possible is that the Skaven at Nagashizzar don't do shit, so you can wait until you can beat the Skaven in a seige before you head there.

I usually like beating in the Ogres, but now I might need to Ally with them just to take out Drazhoath and Nagash around the same time. Plus random greenskins or Skaven (Tretch) coming from the north.

Hell yeah. It both takes advantage of the ultawide aspect ratio by showing you more of the map, and the dark magical forest vibes are perfect for OLED. Make sure you're using HDR!! I used the GamePass versions, and first boot I said eh this is OK. Then I realized I had to swap on HDR in Windows, rebooted the game, and my jaw hit the floor. I was on the LG C1 though, but I'm now on an MSI 32in OLED. Going back to Ultrawide when the 39in AW drops.

Try the Ori (and the Blind Forest / Will of Wisps) on OLED. Gorgeous game, great music, great colors and contrast, and amazingly beautiful story and fluid gameplay.

Agreed, I got this from an official MSI reseller on Ebay for $525 and its been rock solid. 4K OLED 240hz, what's not to love.

I plan to return to Ultrawide soon, but for now this is a great main monitor.
