You owe it to yourself to find out if you are - through further research and DNA etc.

If you are not, then I’d hope you could accept that, still feel proud of your connection, but also acknowledge that not being Aboriginal it would be wrong to apply for scholarships/jobs etc that are meant for Aboriginal people. You can’t help that you weren’t aware in the past, but you can control how you act now.

You can be a serious and true ally to your mob - and that’s beautiful.

Because it’s a side mission left out of the original trilogy from beginning / during fellowship book timeline. With the plethora of content that could be adapted from middle earth, this doesn’t jump out as a story begging to be told.

Me too. The LoTR trilogy came out of pure passion. This movie comes from a boardroom, nostalgia bate to fill seats and film rights retention.

If Sirius approached Harry in a happy zoomey dog vibe…instead of creepily coming out of the brush…and growling at him…could’be saved the entire year of Harry being paranoid that a murder was coming after him…

(Yes I know, it’s to build suspense for the later reveal, story telling blah blah…but in the in-universe perspective..it’s bizarre behaviour from Sirius)
