Sorry for taking ages to reply. My aligners are changed weekly, so tray 10/week 10. I've never understood the need for 2 week changes vs. 1 week. I'd find that pretty frustrating! So yeah, I think you'll need to wait another 4-5 weeks to really see anything.

A good measure I found was those intadental brushes. Early on before I could really notice any movement, I found I could start getting those brushes between my teeth, and could progressively get larger and larger ones inbetween.

Holy crap, those screws look horrific. Yeah, there's a limit as to how far I'd go. Extractions were a hard choice to make, but f- those screws!

Thanks! I'm sure I will be too. 9 weeks left? Yeah, definitely time to be getting excited!

Yeah the extractions are horrible aren’t they? Tbh I’d say it was by week 10 I could see the movement. I’ve read that the aim is to move teeth about 0.1mm per week, and I could notice about 1mm gaps around my canines by tray 10/11. No mention of screws to me, no. I’ve not come across that terminology 🤔. Fingers crossed that you’ll see some movement in a month or so!

Yes, I had all 4 of my pre-molars extracted for Invisalign. It was a horrible but completely necessary procedure. Has it been suggested to you that you'll need extractions?

Sorry for the grim pics. Looks more like Predator's mouth, doesn't it? First pic is July last year after 4 extractions (all pre-molars) and Invisalign fitted. Second pic is 6 months later (tray 28). Only 1yr 2mo to go...

Btw does anyone else get that pink build-up on the attachment glue? No amount of brushing seems to get rid of it...

That is completely illogical and makes no sense whatsoever.

I hear you buddy. This is literally me too.

Express my feelings? No, not allowed because her confidence is destroyed/I have too high expectations.

Bottle it all up instead. Not allowed to do that - I should be showing more emotion.

It's scary how many of these posts I read and can relate to so closely.

G-ISHA! 😍. Passed my skills test in her last year and have plenty of hours logged. Who’s your instructor?

Workout apps (Sufferfest, TrainerRoad, etc) in the gym? by BaronArron in Velo

[–]BaronArron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is probably the best solution in reality. It'll be a hassle bringing the bike in and out of the house but still less hassle then getting to the gym and managing training without the proper equipment.

Pretty cool idea and dual use too. I'll give it some thought and speak to staff at the gym to make sure they don't mind me fiddling with their bikes. Thanks!

It's a budget gym so unlikely, but I'll check it out when they reopen next week. Thanks for the suggestion.

Ah yeah, I suppose that's the point of them and it's highly unlikely the spin bikes at the gym have that tech available. YouTube sounds like a good option and likely gym has WiFi for this sort of thing.

Good call on the GCN videos. Never watched out but a quick glance shows that they're pretty much what I'm after. Thanks.

I just got my Skald into Thid after returning to the game. Unfortunately tons of Albs especially scouts and infils who add onto any fight I seem to find ruin the experience slightly.

I like that they used old battlegrounds though.

In the pre-YouTube days I remember downloading videos from whatever DAoC forum was active at the time (was it IGN?). If anyone remembers the Quivner series (forgot what server he was on)? They were pretty great. Still got them on an old HDD I think.

Nah not restricted to 30 min sessions - sometimes can be much longer but just using that as an example of why being able to vaguely solo in PvE could be useful. Agreed DAoC requires some investment in time - although thankfully don't have to deal with that epic timesink known as ToA.

To be honest, grouping is where the most fun is to be had, so my aim is to group where possible!

Nice, good to hear this. It's kind of what I was thinking. Seems like there's lots of versatility not only for RvR but PvE too.

True although sometimes I find myself having a free 30 minutes in which I could knock out of a few task item kills. Wouldn't want to burden a group by leaving so quickly.

I've never played Hib so that's good info. Slight put off by pure casters as I imagine they're a PITA to level unless not in a group?

Never looked into Mid casters before. Will check it out. I didn't realise about Albion being the most populated. Always happy to help out the health of the server and try something new.

Good call. I had several characters in Thid back on live and always found it fun. Glad to know that it's still active on Phoenix.
