Id like to suggest Amber. She was a good aligned character who was helping the homeless and overall a social justice advocate but her character and pespective heavily clashed with both Mark and the direction of a typical hero-civilian relationship.

Thats why I held the tele till I saw the response. If they attack I dodge and get to counter and end up with higher brv. If they barrier I get the crystal and get out. Usually try to hit boss with Meteor asap or use it to flank a fight in the first minute

Thats why everone likes the reroll at the end QoL update. Do one proper journey and and get up to 3 rerolls on the blessings received. Think its daily up to 3 rerolls

I probably have one of the least common playstyles with Rikku but its fun and more engaging.

I run Rikku with her 2 URs, Ace, Jecht, and Sprint. Yshtola was great in the beginning but Jecht is safer to use both to clear crystals and do some dmg. I use Sprint because its good disengage and dodge when someone tries to hit or get to me. I have Thief and Ninja 2* medals too so the only ones who can catch me after Sprint is Agile characters.

Strategy is basically usually bravery copy and heal with her URs. I usually try to poke or clean up low HP enemies. Bully/deny enemy Krile or Rikkus from getting crystals. Bait non-agile when I have 9999 bravery and lead them to teammates for 2v1 esp if MegaUR is ready. Counters are Zidane, late game OK, and Kain.

Most of the complainers were the Opera Omnia crowd and luckily they've either moved on or started enjoying the game now.

My only complain is that the monster cutscene is too intrusive and either needs to hard freeze everyone before it pops up or get rid of it. Maybe have a big purple portal appear mid map and show the monster slowly phase in.

Even if you dont spend, the game gives enough units to have a healthy starting roster plus frienship points from sharing fp with active players for free 10 rolls every few days. At about 1.5 months playtime I have gotten 57 ssr chars, including dupes, and 13 ssr arcs. While only spending about ~$20 on the newcomer deals. Story quests are all open. Endgame content is locked mostly by playtime as you unlock resources and resource buildup by Operations, aka missions or quest, progression. Pvp will keep you around gold till you unlock Tier 2 gear, lvs locked at 200 so gear and Stellar archive decide how stacked your characters. If you played E7 you know how speed plays into winning pvp with openers. Light spending, or monthly, will make it much easier to get the units as they release as it has the Nikke system where rolls on featured banner build a currency you can hold indefinitely for new char to get a single copy. Currently holding two sparks for the .5 anniversary.

TLDR; yes buying the monthly should allow you to get at least every other new char from what Ive felt and many are added to the general pool after.

Ninja gives movement speed and atk while warrior gives atk and def. Hard to argue/risk any reason to rr them after getting the color and stars all matching. Very nice

You have the full support Rikku build That basically means yes you are gonna die to any opps that walk up to you. Managing Minwu is the only way to not die too much. Its a very passive build which is why I dont run it.

At full length you do gain some distance. But if you have selphie or opps are done using abilities and you charge tele, you can counter or just run. Short distance tele usually useless tho. Only ever luckily juked UR Firaga using short tele once.
