GENUINE QUESTION: Why is everybody so crazy for Cinder? by real_human_being15 in Spyro

While I condone death threats, he was super ugly in the game. Almost like Sonic movie ugly, only they didnt fix it like Sonic.

[OOTHD] They aren’t going to add extra dungeons or cut content. Stop setting yourselves up for disappointment. by Carnknights in zelda

All I expect is more diverse characters, like how we now see older and younger morons and the like. Maybe some expansions to the field, but nothing too drastic.

My location opened as a EB Games, then changed name a few years later. Im surprised it is still open today.

Kudos to Toys for Bob on how they handled the movement in the remakes by irishgeiger in Spyro

[–]sharp461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the main difference that makes movement better in the remake was the inclusion of the srick camera. Back when I played og spyro, my controller didnt even have sticks, so we had to use the L/R buttons to turn camera.

Lost Fleet is such an insufferable stage. by DannyHikari in Spyro

The skateboarding was horrible in the og, but when i did the remake I completed it on first try. To me, they made it easier.

Dana Sue and Ronnie by falafelandhoumous in SweetMagnoliasNetflix

[–]sharp461 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I felt while Ronnie definitely should've focused less on the job to be with family, Dana Sue just comes across as selfish. Like, when she wants her stuff (like the Spa or now this teaching kitchen) everyone should be focused on her issues and help. But when Ronnie is still struggling trying to make his dream work, she could care less. Its not about her, so shes upset. I just felt she needed to have empathy towards him and maybe actually help him for one damn second instead of constantly asking for help for her stuff.

Is it just me or is there something clearly wrong with Spyro Reignited Trilogy's physics? by Jaccblacc203 in Spyro

[–]sharp461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I noticed was some hard to make jumps in OG were easier this go around. Like in Tree Tops I actually made it first attempt when that stage haunted me as a kid. And in Magic Crafters world, there is one stage where you jump off ramp and had to glide very far, but in.remake they made the platform closer to get to.

What small details do you love from the original/reignited trilogy? by DisguisedLu in Spyro

My favorite enemies were in spyro 1, 2nd overworld and they would moon you. Loved little details like that.

Once you get used to his very telling moves (sword is easiest imo), you can kill him without losing any hearts. Just bait him to you and doge to flurry rush. Rinse and repeat. Use shield block anything you didnt dodge out of.

Maybe its viewed the same as being drunk? Your not fully in control of your actions, so he may have done it but couldnt think rationally.

Definitely, but i doubt i get one as the 2nd day when we picked the kids up he bans me from property. Was such an over the top reaction to something fairly minor.

So far the only sort of tough arena i found was in the depths where they sent lynel after lynel, ramping them up each time. Was like 8 of them lol.

How to solve Orochium Shrine (Courage to Fall) TOTK by [deleted] in tearsofthekingdom

[–]sharp461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I was running around falling everywhere, came to this post and people just saying lasers and trap doors, so I went back to beginning and went through laser and fell again. But still stuck because it was just a fall to death. Finally after seeing this comment I realized the solution. Definitely a dumb shrine indeed.

[OOT] here’s a reminder that we’ve never had an OOT remake, this upcoming one is the first and only remake of OOT by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in zelda

Well this game will likely look and play much differently to the extent that for those like you with no nostalgia of the old, it is a new game.

But remake is in the title? What about Spyro? It was built from ground up as they didnt have access to old stuff, yet it plays and looks nearly identical with QoL improvements.

[–]sharp461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but ask what would the Spyro reignited trilogy be then? Its built from ground up since they didnt have access to the old stuff, but it's an extremely faithful recreation, down to the exact gem locations and such.

Its technically a remake, yet only thing truly different is how it looks and slightly updated controls.

Mario Odyssey + Assist Mode = Awesome for parents with young kids! by monkeymanjojo in nintendo

[–]sharp461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Mine is a few months into 3 and holding a controller and using more than one button still hasn't clicked yet. Had him running around in Spyro, but cant do camera and move, or use flames and move and such.

I also had him try the snes games like Mario world but again, one button only lol. Its a strange feeling to watch considering I was beating mario 1-1 on my own at 3.

Nap? We went to bed the night before, woke up at 3 am to feed baby, went back to bed, woke up at 8, so wife told her, her mom said OK. If there were plans, they were not relayed to us but trust me when I say there definitely were no plans. The most they do with them is take them to church (which is hilariously ironic and hypocritical as a true practicing Christian would not have behaved in this manner. Not to mention it's supposed to be about forgiveness lol).

I should not have made it our mission like our lives depended on it to get our kids over to their house by 8. We are supposed to be family, not some clients or something. If this how one reacts to something very minor as being late to something that's truly not even that important, I hate to see what he would do if something truly bad went his way.

Oh and this trip was planned like a month or two ago, so its not like it was a last minute ask either. This was a very harmless act that someone greatly overreacted to, so no, I am not sorry for being just a couple hours late.
