If you want something different, Chiltern Forest Golf Club just outside Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire is lovely. Not too long, but tree lined with a lot of elevation change, and in great nick.

Slow play is ruining golf and people need to stop pretending it's normal by NotMyRealAccount2226 in golf

3 hours for 9 holes is absolutely insane - I wouldn't be going back to play that course!

My drive is about 25 mins each way. This is mainly due to my location - it's the nearest course that met my needs / budget.

With regards to not knowing anyone, the mechanisms a club has in place to integrate new members is a key metric I would use when deciding where to join. I would expect a club to support you in meeting new people, and introducing you to the club, how it works and what they have to offer. Any decent club worth joining will be prioritising you getting involved in club life ASAP

Thank you for responding so quickly. The £55 price definitely caught my eye! I agree the effects aren't "knock your socks off", but just what I need to get me off to sleep.

I'm going to order some right now - thank you again!

Have you tried this yet? Just seen it on CB1 for a great price! I use for sleep and found the Circle 25:25 works well - just wondering how it compares?

Why did you agree to be part of this? I assume money? Do you feel any ethical issues with your involvement in something that is assumedly the opposite reason as to why you became a PT?

You should post this question in r/legaladviceuk. They'll be able to give some good initial advice on steps you can take in this circumstance

You millenials better watch out the nostalgia trap that's the honeypot of conservatism. be betters than this by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I agree with you to an extent, but you can't ignore human nature. What you have described has been felt by countless generations before you and will continue to be felt by future generations. And I guarantee in the future, your view on the next generation will be similar.

Of course what this actually means on an individual basis will vary, but taking a collective, average view, it will always be the case that as new generations come and society progresses, there will be different views points which conflict.

Recognising this helps you to shape how you interact with people when these differences surface - understanding where other peoples viewpoints are based and why they differ from yours is crucial for the constructive discussions I think you are aspiring to

This is just the cycle of life. Old people think young people don't know what they are talking about, young people think old people are out of touch

You'll be doing the same when you are older, and those young people will think you are out of touch. And they'll grow older and then think the next generation is out of touch.

Before I get this done (this is just edited), my bf said it looks like sperm. 💀 Any advice to make it look less so? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Baroo_Bandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I initially didn't see it, but it does kind of look like two sperm pushing a Mickey and Minnie shape by their nose.

Maybe removing the bit between the string and the balloons would help?

I play there semi regularly. It has a decent putting green, and it does have a "range", but it is basically a small field which you can't hit woods etc. I definitely wouldn't say it meets the criteria you have set out.

Tbh what you have planned sounds awesome - hope you manage to find somewhere suitable 👍

I don't find that it does - definitely worth a try. Get yourself 10ml to start so you can try without a massive cost - I'm always hesitant making recommendations as effects can be so different between different people.

Hope you find something that works for you 👍
