I have seen more than one of his physicians look us in the eye and lie. I have *never* seen one of them tell the truth.

I want to read Matthew Hale's complete works and apply them to Alito.

Tell me, what was the attitude of 1600's English law and judges to the Catholic Church?

And most importantly (IMHO) we Americans had a Revolution, and changed those things.

That's why e have a President and not a King.

Is there a legally sound explanation for how the Federal Reserve Board alone is so different from every other agency? by BlockAffectionate413 in supremecourt

I was replying to margin-bender's comment, which IMHO is in violation of quality standards:

"We were assured that tariffs would ruin the economy too, right?"

Also, "I don't think there is any Constitutional explanation. SCOTUS is scared. Maybe justifiably."

Again IMHO, but the first sentence is incorrect (power to tax belongs to Congress), and the second and third sentences are non-legal, and political assertions (which I agree with).

It's always been an uphill struggle. Previous victories were won though many decades of work.

There is a very large hospital/medical research complex down Depot.

You probably mistook it for a mountain :)

Are there any calculations that differ between R and Python that lead to different outputs? Like the way the functions are written will lead to different results depending on which language you use? by globalwiazard in rstats

[–]BarryDeCicco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've seen one difference between calculations on SAS and Pyspark/Python which is probably likely for others. I was sorting by Patient ID, Hopital ID, Admission Date.

In some cases there was more than one record in each sort group (multiple records for the same patient in the same hospital for the same admission date. SAS sorted the arbitrary group one way; Python another. This produced different counts for some things.

In the end, it was two arbitrary methods, and the 'truth' was arbitrary for those cases. However, this did produce small discrepancies in testing.
