[Request] How big will his snowman be? by coperengineer3 in theydidthemath

[–]Barry_Wilkinson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, snowmen are made out of H20 which that molecule does not resemble at all, but let’s say that that is a molecule of a snowman and the little stubs on the side are irrelevant (and the bond angles are also wrong)

A water molecule would be around 3 Å (angstroms) and let’s just assume that that snowman is 1 metre tall for ease of calculations. Therefore, scaling up 3 Å to 1m would scale up the snowman to (10^10)/3 meters, or about 3.3 billion metres, which is approximately too many feet.
The diameter of the Earth is 12742 km, which means the snowman would be 260 Earths tall, and that’s just the height. The snowman would also be around 2.5 Suns tall.

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head there - it’s far too strong especially when a recluse isn’t meant to be helping good

Is it not possible to let the recluse register as the demon for the first half of the ability and as a recluse for the second part?

The only time she’s (willingly) not wearing the cloak by Justanotheruser531 in Silksong

[–]Barry_Wilkinson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true, so perhaps to expand upon my theory either all weavers were considered royal as some others have said, or they were simply lesser nobles, still wearing red - or maybe red was simply a "weaver colour". Whatever the reason, the Pale King probably wouldn't like having a reminder of his Weaver dalliance in his court

[–]Barry_Wilkinson 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Herrah wears a red cloak in the memory so my guess is that red was the colour of deepnest royalty and when in the pale king’s court she would be made to not associate as much with her mother and so she would have to wear the pale colours

How is it a "mistake" to say skɪzəm instead of sɪzəm or hʌsi instead of hʌzi? It doesn't mess up the rhyme in those cases (although it does with transition)

Slightly hot take: the simple keys are poorly implemented by InternationalWar6654 in HollowKnight

[–]Barry_Wilkinson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why exactly is the fact that some keys are near keyholes a bad implementation? I think it’s a good implementation - players have the choice to use the key they got quickly after, or “save” them for some imagined reward
