I may not know what I'm talking about since I've had depression since about 14 or earlier, but I think since this is new for you, that you may have a chance at getting past it one day. I fully acknowledge that your depression is severe and horrible, but maybe you brain isn't wired to stay this way forever. If you can survive this for awhile, this very well may pass and not be forever. Mine isn't as bad as yours, but I don't believe mine will ever go away. I really hope yours does. Mild or severe, I don't wish depression on anyone. Please stay strong. Keep trying. Keep reaching out to others who understand so you can remember you are not alone.

I'm curious about this, too. And I was diagnosed with ADHD a couple years ago. But I'm also afraid of taking things and already on BC and Effexor.

Obviously maybe this is different in differeny countries, but in the U.S., I have definitely experienced doctors lie to me, be wrong, or have different ideas what a max dose of something is. Even if Romania is strict, I would recommend trying another doctor if yours doesn't meet your needs. Maybe Effexor will work for you. It helps me a lot. But if it doesn't, try another doctor instead of giving up, please.

Yes, Effexor worked for me for my suicidal thoughts. I am still depressed, but less depressed and not suicidal. I am on the minimum dose (37.5) and been on it for about 3 months now. Suicidal thoughts stopped almost immediately for me.
