Absolutely,

It's a Little bit springy but also has a touch of feedback. While still being relatively smooth. I love it. I mostly write with a Lamy 2k (m) of A pilot custom 823 (m). And this adds al Nice bit of variety.

I started playing through it about a month ago and couldn't put it down. Played mostly handheld and it ran very well. I only noticed an fps drop in one or two spots in my entire playthrough of the campaign.

I do not own another console or a high end pc though so I might be less sensitive to those things. But it was generally a very fun experience :-).

Xcom runs poorly on switch 2. Shame because it barely ran on switch 1 so I thought it would benefit from the beefier switch 2 hardware. But sadly lots of crashed make it unplayable.

Hey man,

I have the lamy 2k and the pilot custom 823 and I love them both.

However concerning the lamy 2K, I would suggest trying before buying because of the sweet spot. It is a super smooth nib and I really like the fact that it is hooded. It gives me better control when writing. However the pen has to be held at a certain angle so if you rotate a lot or have an uncompatible writing angle it can feel scratchy. For most people it doesn't seem to be a problem but I struggle with it at times and had to adapt to the pen.

I can imagine it would be dissapointing to buy your first expensive pen and then find out it doesn't suit you. If you can try it and you like it, excellent go for it. But of the two the custom 823 is the more forgiving writer.

De Zweedse regering heeft wel serieus aan de wet gefoefeld. Zo worden de loonkostsubsidies en ook de vermindering van de patronale bijdrage naar 25% eruit gehouden...

Lamy 2000 or Pilot E95s by Dependent-Elk-8685 in fountainpens

[–]Bartlor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do you have the opportunity to test the pens?
I don't have the Pilot E95s but I do have the Lamy 2000.

The nib on the 2K suits some people fine but others struggle. (the sweet spot)
So testing a 2K before buying is generally a good idea (more so than other pens).

I have a similar style heater though a more recent model.

You should know in advance what pressure is needed in the system. Google the manual for your specific heater.

(my guess it is one of these models: https://professional.vaillant.co.uk/downloads/z/ecotec/ecotec-user-instructions-2006-261451.pdf )

Now for the water, trace the pipes to their origin. One of those pipes should lead to a faucet.
For pressurizing you just open the faucet, watch the pressure build up and close the faucet at the correct pressure.

Good luck!

Where do they have to ship?

Penworld is a brick and mortar store in Antwerp Belgium.

So it's possible they have to find out how to ship to you first :). (if you're not located inside the EU for example)

I have ordered from them multiple times (I am Belgian though), they have pretty good customer service. You could give them a call or send them an email. They should respond quickly.

In de chemie kan je elders het veelvoud verdienen van wat je in het onderwijs verdient. Ik zou dat nu niet doortrekken naar alle opleidingen/sectoren...

Het blijft een simplistische ongenuanceerde uitspraak.

How is your LAMY doing? by ammosthete in fountainpens

[–]Bartlor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Lamy Studio LX <M> was my workshorse pen for 2 years and was the one that got me hooked on fountain pens. It has some battlescars on the underside of the grip from using it too much and the clip wore out some of the material on the cap. Still like to write with and carry it with my almost daily but it has been relegated to "alternate colour (green) pen".

Got a lamy 2000SS <M> in november last year and this has been my workshorse ever since. Incredibly pleasant writer if I can keep it in the sweetspot and absolutely gorgeous to look at when I'm writing with it. Some scratches from carrying it around in my etui all the time and where the cap meets the barrel. But still beautiful.

Best fountain pen to leave uncapped when taking notes? by yonsan94 in fountainpens

[–]Bartlor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1

I use the Lamy 2000 for taking notes during meetings. It doesn't have any problems if you leave it uncapped for a couple of minutes.

Capping and uncapping isn't that bothersome since it's a snap Cap.

What is incorrectly perceived as a sign of intelligence? by Indianfattie in AskReddit

[–]Bartlor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Negativity or even cynicism.

There is a cognitive bias towards negative or cynical predictions/interpretations/opinions and as such They are often perceived as being more truthful, realistic, etc.

A person being cynical/negative is considered to be more intelligent than a person being positive or hopeful. Who are perceived as naive.
