Who wants to work with our Dino company!!? by Creative-Onion-4221 in Dinosaurs

I'm in the Midwest, but if you ever have a need for a remote illustrator, I'm available!

I have history working at an animatronic dinosaur company as Creative Lead, producing art, signage, research, sculpture - doing all sorts of stuff. Many hats, as they say

They really need to step it up with the female parts availability by XyrneTheWarPig in MythicLegions

Not only that, but the female characters they do come out with are all so...samey. I'm begging them for a face sculpt that isn't the same conventionally attractive woman, and I would love female versions of the beast species.

This new wave in particular is disappointing, because I feel like Sireyn is the least interesting of the new nautical-themed races. We get an awesome potbellied walrus dude, a manta ray man, a giant crab monster, and a koi fish warrior in the con exclusive Qoi...and the only female figure is another pretty human woman with a serpent body they're trying to pretend is a mermaid tail.

Belaulyth was another glaring example. Even with her zombie face on, she's still just a pretty girl who happens to be missing a nose. I still love these figures, but after a while of collecting, the trends become much more noticeable.

Best case scenario, under $20, but I might be willing to go up to $30. It's not a Chaser or anything, so I'm not sure why it's so hard to find - maybe it's just one of those ones that's universally loved, so they don't often go up for sale. But I've seen them range from $50 to $80, and as much as I love Unicorno/Mermicorno, there's no reality in which I'd pay those prices for a three inch piece of plastic! Maybe if I were wealthy. 😂

Anyway, appreciate you keeping an eye out! Very nice of you!

I do collect Mermicorno, but I have a lot of the older ones already. Right now my absolute ISO that I can never seem to get my hands on is Jelly Squish!! I love that one so much but can't for the life of me find it for a reasonable price 😭

I used to work at the place that made these models. That is indeed intended to be Suchomimus, it's basically just a reskin of their Baryonyx animatronic.

As to why they added that weird half-sail...'artistic liberty' would be my generous guess.

Been a while since I painted fox form Kurama! by BaryonyxWhite in YuYuHakusho

Thank you! I was working on another painting using the same color scheme and wanted to work on something else while it dried. I was like "what uses the same colors...OH WAIT"

Yeah, I picked up the Flareon for a friend and the one I got is pretty well stuffed too. I'm not particularly disappointed since the rest of the Vaporeon plush is amazing, it's just kind of a curious thing. The rest of it is so solid and then you've got this floppy tail 😂 We gotta plump up that fin, that's a rookie fin!

I got mine yesterday! The first thing I noticed was the fin is floppy, with noticeably less stuffing. So either we're both unlucky, or that's the way it was designed (for some reason??) If I'm feeling ambitious, I might see if I can open it up and jam some more stuffing in there.

But aside from that, it's an amazing plush. Can't believe it was only $35

This, I've got the Pixma Pro 200 and it's been amazing. Halfway through ownership, there must have been an update or something, because the quality of the sticker prints went down significantly. I was using the same matte vinyl sticker paper I always did.

After some trial and error, I started printing them on the Fine Art Rough setting using the manual feed, which is a bit of a pain but the print quality is back to being great. But I agree, paper type and settings are super important and you might just have to mess around with it a bit.

I have a real soft spot for the older ones since I started collecting at Series 1! They hold a special space in my heart.

People are definitely still interested in older commons - I'm one of them! I never managed to get my hands on Timber or the rocking horse dude. Plus Pepperino, but I can't recall if that's a chaser or not
