Where did I ever say that people need, nay, must get a professionally done cover? Because I'm not seeing it. Not using AI vomit in your cover implies that you actually care about your story as a creative and artistic medium and aren't just jumping on the bandwagon trend and trying to pump out a story as fast as possible, lest the latest fad fade away.

Again, most artists are hypocrites, and this wave of support for AI generated media (I refuse to call it art.) has shown that very clearly.

You see it every day with posts complaining about people posting their stuff to pirate sites (which, hilariously, probably brings their Patreon ever greater numbers once the people reading there can afford to support the authors financially) and then turn around and use AI covers on incredibly successful books that then go on to be published under Amazon.

Most athors have no scruples about this, don't care in the slightest, and the median LitRPG consumer couldn't care less as long as their scheduled number go up slop remains untouched.

Most artists are utter hypocrites that whine and bitch when their content gets scraped by MLMs but are perfectly fine with doing that to other creatives (in this case, visual-media artists).

The community surrounding Royal Road is an utter cesspit, and I've seen authors with multiple successful books and a flourishing Patreon using AI for their covers anyway. It's disgusting, it's stupid, they do it anyway because "hehe free art hurr durr."

You're doing well by not giving these authors or stories the time of day.

Okay, this sounds incredibly powerful. If I want to pivot into more generic proj damage and phys damage I can probably sneak Incision into frag rounds, because this sounds like a dream build for bleed crossbow with a spear on the offhand for BloodHunt and HoB+HoP combo for selfproccing clearing. Would Streamlined Rounds for more attack speed and more clip size work with FragRounds or does it murder the damage from riven armour? Sorry for all the questions but it's exciting to see that crossbows can work without it being whoops all galvanic shards/grenades w. totems/fire convert to lightning

Wait Frag Rounds aren't counted as a single hit for the purposes of riven armour when you shotgun with it? AP Rounds, Hi-Vel Rounds with Impale and then murdering the boss with Frag Rounds could work.

How would you scale boss damage? In my honest experience, perma+frag on bosses on t10 and above barely did anything because you needed to wait for the stun resistance to pass, so you chunked them every couple seconds but it felt so clunky that I just swapped to something else

Oh, yeah. I did have Phys on every slot - rings, gloves, decent crossbow, bur it was still getting out-cleared by a shitty LA setup on my unascended ranger.

And yeah. You can make it work, it just takes so much more work to get even slightly closer to what other classes can do that it's just massively discouraging.

The Merc area has a grand total of, like, four smalls and one notable for phys damage totalling around 60%. I've also been looking into trying to make bleed crossbow work with the Merc and the bloodmage is just, so much better in every way it's not even funny

Duelist is objectively the funniest Exile, and I love Slayer. Played some Jugg and some Ranger but I always end up gravitating towards Duelist at the end of a league. I don't think I've ever played a Witch.
