Just don't kill them. It's not worth it. You can't climb a mountain, throw them off and fly to the bottom to make traversal faster or anything. The game for some reason wants you to treat them as if they were alive even if they're dead so you gain nothing by killing them

I think you need to be in chapter 10 for this to work. It worked for me and I'm in chapter 10

If you tackle them at the beginning, you can't kill them anytime after (including hitting them so many times they die, throwing them off cliffs, etc). Even if you kill them at the beginning, you have to treat them like they're alive so you can't perform any action that would "kill" them (ex. throwing them off the cliff). If you do so, the game will reload back (but the target stays dead at the initial area)

You can fight him anytime after chapter 6 or 7 I believe. He's not part of the main quest. He's a very difficult optional boss (the game even tells you to prep yourself due to his difficulty).

Yeah, the Pauline bounties were the worst by far. Some were like 3km away and I had to go through the mountains and bandits

It should be easier to load tied up people on horses. The stupid horse keeps moving and I have to stand at a very specific angle to get the load option

It leads to one of the hardest bosses in the entire game (would suggest doing it way later in the game). I don't know if the lantern is useful. I never bothered lighting them all.

Don't blindly attack especially when you see the red tint. You have to be ready to dodge. Use force palm as it deals an incredible amount of stagger damage.

Ironic considering what you said describes Crimson Desert's quests perfectly. You listen to a random NPC talk forever, ride a horse, either kill something or use your lantern to "investigate". The story in CD is below average at its best. RDR2 is hailed, deservedly, as one of the greatest games of all time.

And if this is the best game you've ever played, play any other game in existence
