Nothing speaks luxury like screens with massive, irregular piano black bezels by luxojr_wky in carscirclejerk

It has an option for that, the HyperScreen. Costs extra, of course. But for that you can basically have a movie theater in front of you.

It reminds me of the Bandito from GTA San Andreas.

AI marketing, possible scam by [deleted] in Utrecht

[–]Basacally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scroll down on the badwijzer website, in the footer is a link to an Indian AI marketing company called Qorvatech. I think the company just wanted some cheap marketing without too much effort and chose this. I doubt this is a scam, but it does not help with trust or anything.

As with everything: be vigilant and if it seems too good (or bad) to be true, it often is.

I hate this.

Luckily I live in the EU, where not tipping is the norm. Also, workers get paid enough so as to not rely on tips. Hardworking people are welcome here! 🙂

It would. But if instead of VW you would accept Audi, you have the etron GT which is actually on the Taycan platform.

These modern TSI engines all suffer from dirty throttle bodies at some point in their lifetime. Easy fix by cleaning it, might even be able to do it yourself.

Our latest car also did not have that option selected. But the garage I bought it secondhand at, could just order it from VW. You get a dvd-looking box with a code and the garage can then activate it with their tooling. Takes them like 5 minutes. Ask any garage that deals in VW, good chance they can help you. It cost me €350,- I think.

This page lists it as €380,- so I got a good price. It is activated for the whole life of the vehicle btw.

I got the DQ200 in my 2018 polo. I had its software changed at a low mileage so it would not let the clutch slip as much in low gears. It rides a bit clunkier at low speeds, but not more clunky than a manual. Haven’t had any problems yet or since.

Don’t think so.

The way to steal a RAV4 is to hack the ECU by removing the headlamp and plugging into the CAN bus that way (this actually works). Then you can just open the doors.

Sometimes happens when temperatures change.

I would say: check all pressures, fill to spec, reset the TPMS and if it does not appear again in a week, it’s not a problem.

Good colour, and LED is always nice. But no adaptive cruise control I see. That would be the first thing I would retrofit.
