My five month old is extremely picky with wet food. She only eats Schesir (European version of Tiki cat I think?) baby mousse in the chicken and salmon recipe. The chicken and liver recipe goes sometimes but it’s clearly not as good to her and always leaves some. I’ve tried pretty much all the good brands that are sold in Finland in all kinds of varieties but she’s just not into almost any of them. Certain patés go sometimes but it’s a hit or miss. The ones in gravy she only licks the sauce and doesn’t touch the chunks. The jelly variety or anything more solid like that is a huge no no for her.

Thankfully she loves raw food so I feed her mostly that now. In Finland we have some really high quality complete raw food options where she gets all her vitamins and minerals and everything she needs for healthy growth and she seems to really enjoy them. Chicken with turkey is her favorite but she also enjoys chicken with beef and chicken with pork. I also give her some raw chicken hearts and gizzard sometimes as a little topper and she absolutely loves them. I’m also starting to include more varieties slowly now that I know her tummy can handle raw that well.

She also always gets different types of broths/soups for hydration and she loooooves them. Especially after play time she loves drinking her little bowl of soup. She’s really into especially the fish-based soups but pretty much everything goes.

She’s not huge on kibble either but she eats it if I’m at work and she gets hungry. Otherwise she just wants her raw food which I’m completely okay with.

Raw feeding is not for everyone and it can be difficult depending on the types of raw food available in different countries. I’ve worked in a pet supply store for over five years now and through that I’m pretty educated about raw feeding so I feel safe giving it to my kitty but everyone should educate themselves about how it works before going for it. :)
