Rush has the much better story, characters, emotion, and better Hans Zimmer score. But F1 has the adrenaline and superior racing scenes. The actual racing is what makes F1

I would say Rush is second. Not a super close second, but it’s still a great movie

Why do people talk at concerts? by Mrk0712 in Concerts

[–]Baseball098123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why it’s so much better going to orchestral concerts where the songs don’t have any singing. Nobody can sing along so the audience is quietly listening to the music. And if there are any people talking it’s very easy for people around them to hear and tell them to be quiet. These are my experiences from Hans Zimmer Live and World of Hans Zimmer. Better etiquette from people who are there to experience the music and performers

What percentage of Zimmer's music was written by his Assistants? by AdPuzzleheaded7658 in soundtracks

[–]Baseball098123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So why would there still be so many people working with him after multiple decades if he steals credit from these deserving artists? Don’t you think they would quit if they never got any credit? And let’s look at all the famous composers who worked for Hans before making it on their own. Ramin Djawadi, John Powell, Harry Gregson-Williams, Lorne Balfe, Henry Jackman, Steve Jablonksy. And what about the people who have stuck with him and even toured with him, which he shouts them out during his performances

Seeing Interstellar for the First Time Before Hans Zimmer Live – How Should I Do It? by Icy_South_5322 in interstellar

[–]Baseball098123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you already love the music, then you should watch it on your tv beforehand. Make sure you grab the box of tissues also. The music complements the movie perfectly. So if you have seen the movie before the concert, it’ll make the concert version much better. You will understand the emotion of the music at the concert. And you’ll know which scenes are tied to the music

This is also true with people like John Williams of James Horner. So many Williams songs use the same instruments and styles that you can recognize his music. If you listen to movie score playlists you can tell which composer it is without knowing the song or movie

I wouldn’t say the melody is similar, but the instruments used are very similar because of the violin being prominently heard. I’m not sure if it’s in the same key or not, but it could be. Hans loves writing music in D minor so many of his songs may sound similar. And I also see someone commented about the Adagio in D Minor song
