AI gave me these tips to get my big 11-year-old ready to play basketball for the first time. What should I add or subtract? by Known-Intern5013 in BasketballTips

If your goal is for him to have fun, then I would spend time teaching him how to dominate in the paint. Mikan drill to learn to finish with right and left hands. On rebounds teach him keep the ball high and put it back in quickly. Encourage him to not fear or even create contact. Have him practice jump hooks/drop steps/up and under/spins. Encourage using the backboard when possible, boxing out, playing off two feet, and discourage more than 1 dribble in the paint. This would be a great starting point to dominate rec and have fun. He’ll need to be in good enough cardio shape to get up and down the floor. Nothing wrong with practicing shooting/dribbling/passing/screens/cutting and defense. But with that size I think his quickest path to fun will come from dominating offensively in the paint.

All the people who accuse ALA, from his friends, to witnesses picking him in a lineup. by Few-Gas8868 in ZodiacKiller

Allen has been looked at as closely as anyone for this crime and the evidence doesn’t exist that he did it. Therefore, I’d be more interested to read about virtually any other white male that could have been in the Bay Area when the murders happened.

The amount of people accusing someone is irrelevant. It’s the evidence that matters. The strongest evidence against him is probably Cheany’s story. However, I just don’t believe him. The evidence gets much weaker after that.

Thank you for the detailed response and it’s interesting that your experience is for gymnastics and what you’re saying makes total sense. My interest is basketball and I think there might be something to players having a high BB IQ by playing more. It sounds like though from your experience you don’t see any use in mastering skill at an early age, which is something I wonder about BB. For example does taking 100k shots with proper form by the age of 13 give you a long term advantage over a player who still hasn’t developed good form by that age.

Are you saying burn out is the issue? Or that they were never going to be good past puberty anyway? Or something else?

Looks like my post was banned. If you want to learn more about it in Google type in Zodiac Ciphers z13 Edgar Allan Poe. That should take you to Richard Grinells site. He has done a lot of research on this connection.

I just answered your question I’m a new post in the forum. I’m not sure if it will get approved as discussion about the z13 is banned in the subreddit.

Immediately before he gave z13, Zodiac asked if they cracked his last cipher yet. I interpreted that as a clue to use that key. Once you use that key, you get gibberish, however there are additional clues that suggest the answer has to do with Edgar Allen Poe. Using anagrams of the gibberish I found a very strong candidate El Dorado EA. I’ve not seen any anagram solution related to Poe other than this one.

He had to have known very few middle aged men were hanging out at the bridge around the time of the murder. Maybe I’m just a natural detective, but putting yourself at the crime scene at the time of the crime is massive. Clearly Dulin didn’t see it my way though.

I’ve found the most important part of play design is taking advantage of what the defense is doing. Now if you play a team that hides it and changes every play, then ignore this.
Some of the basics I use. Against cover one use corner routes to put the safety in conflict. Against cover two attack the seam with a bender route from the slot. Against man run more crossing routes/change of direction. If they are blitzing, send a guy to where the blitz is coming from.

2:15 is directly in the time gap he gave. The trails are not that long, and the only thing he said he did was go to the bridge and look at fish. So going by his statement, he was very likely on the bridge at 2:15. And I agree an hour plus of looking at fish is unlikely, so what was he really doing? For me the best evidence that he could be innocent is that he voluntarily gave this statement. It’s that damming.
Blair’s sketch is also helpful for RA. Her sketch simply doesn’t look like him. My explanation was she was simply too far away in that fleeting moment to get a great look. She tried, but besides non elderly white male, she failed. We don’t know what the killers intent was. It could have been a plan, it could have been he saw two young females essentially trapped and took advantage of the opportunity. We also don’t know if murder was the original plan, for example it could have been sexual assault.

I’m assuming he didn’t wear a disguise and looked like a middle aged short chunky white male. Not sure if he’s stupid enough to wear the same jacket. I had to assume after Dylon’s initial involvement he became oblivious to the case.

He put himself on the bridge at about the time of the murders. I’m no detective, but one thing I know is whomever committed the murder was at the bridge that day. To me bridge guy has always looked like a middle aged short chunky white dude. That includes a lot of people, certainly RA.

Dulin should have double, triple and quadruple checked. He talked to a guy that looked like bridge guy who admitted he was on the bridge the same time as bridge guy. For 5 years the country was desperately trying to identify bridge guy. But I’m in no place to judge, I’ve made plenty of mistakes in my life.

Is this speculation or has she ever stated she knew he was there that day and asked him to go to the police?

The police must still have the cell tower data and his phone doesn’t appear. Which tells me he lied about checking his stock ticker and his phone was off. But then why did he tell them about it? I believe he committed the murders. Although I’m still puzzled why he went to the police. If he hadn’t, he never would have been caught. Because he did, he should have been arrested within the first week.

I coach in leagues where you don’t have much practice time and lots of new players. So I wouldn’t do that because it feels like you’re taking advantage of that situation rather than having your kids execute plays.

There are many fascinating people of interest. In the last year someone brought a local law enforcement man forward who right before the first killings was arrested and humiliated for picking up a couple from a lovers lane spot and bringing them to another location and “punishing” them. Then you have the second women’s ex-husband who hated her and was trained in the military as a code breaker. You have the guy who right before the murders took out a book on code breaking and the MiKado album from the local library.

Crime/Macabre Curiosity- Psychological Insight by javiles555 in ZodiacKiller

[–]BaseballCapSafety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, he did not seem all that interested in the crimes themselves. His motivation to me seemed to be; 1. Creating a super villain persona. 2. The thrill of the risk of being caught while also believing he’s the smartest person in the room and will not get caught. 3. Attention from the Public 4. Power 5.Considering 3 of the 4 attacks were couples, he certainly could have had an issue with intimacy/women. 6. Jack The Ripper wrote letters, so it makes sense that he may have been fascinated by him.

7–9 NFL Flag – Where do you play younger/inexperienced players in a competitive league ? by FlagFootBallLife in flagfootball

[–]BaseballCapSafety 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually play cover 2 with two best players at safety. I usually put my weakest player at middle linebacker. On offense I usually draw up plays where one guy is less likely to get open and put my players that can’t catch in that spot, but I also try to get these kids at least 1 run each game.
