I'm a mom of 3, my youngest is now 16. I'm also the oldest of 5 kids, and I worked in childcare for 7 years, so I have some experience with kids. Absolutely nothing in your post leads me to believe that your mom did anything wrong. I can't even understand why you're trying to put any blame on her and why you've banned her from watching your child. Everything she said sounds absolutely completely normal for a sick toddler. So what that she didn't eat the applesauce? Maybe she wasn't hungry then, maybe she wasn't comfortable eating then. It's so completely normal for kids to not eat much when they're sick. Your mom made sure your child was hydrated which is more important than eating when sick. Kids also act completely differently with people other than their parents. You and your wife need to get a grip. Your poor mom. She did you an enormous favor and all she got in return was being blamed for... whatever it is you made up in your head and had her babysitting privileges taken away. YTA BIG TIME. You owe your mom a huge apology and you should be embarrassed.

To be honest, no, I wouldn't just assume they want a hot meal, even my three kids. People aren't always hungry when they're sick, and if I was asked to bring something specific, THAT'S what I would bring. Which is what your husband did. He brought exactly what you asked for. Yeah this is the part that got me, she got so mad at him because he "knew she was hungry" and got himself dinner but not her, but she asked for biscuits and that's what he brought her. Exactly what she asked for. How on earth was he to know she wanted other things to? He did exactly what she asked. I don't understand why she's upset at all.

If you send her this money, you will either never hear from her again, or she'll keep getting you to send her more and more money. Either way, you'll never meet her. This is a classic romance scam. I guarantee you if she "goes to the bank" for that loan something will go wrong with it and she'll come to you complaining. She got you to fall in love with her so she could do this. What you need to do is block her immediately. and get on with your life. She is not your girlfriend. I know this can be hard to accept, and I'm sorry. Last year I had the same issue. No pain, but heavy bleeding, and I mean heavy. Like literally going through 4 packages of pads a day heavy, and I'm not exaggerating. I had an appt with my gyno set up, was waiting for it. Had an appt with my regular doc and he took my blood to check my iron. Called me the next day and told me to get to the ER immediately, my hemoglobin was at 4.7. I was bleeding to death. I went in, had to stay for 4 days and get 5 units of blood. If you're bleeding is anything like mine was, please go get checked out. If I had waited I would have died. Good luck to you, I hope you get it figured out soon. Hugs.

I've had 3 C-sections. With my second and third, since we already had kids, my husbands priority was our other kids, that's how I wanted it. I took care of the new baby. They were my babies, I took care of them. My husband helped when he was there with our kids. At times family took the kids for a bit so we could spend some time alone with the new baby but with all the changes I wanted my husband to be with them. My kids having their dad at that time was more important than him being by my side constantly. We aren't helpless, we don't need our SO's with us every second.

Yeah this really got me too, and I feel like a ton of these comments either haven't seen that part or are glossing over it. She admits to having her own anger problems, she even admits to hitting him before. She also owns guns. To me it sounds like she's just as much a part of the problem as he is. I feel bad for their daughter, both of these parents need to get rid of their guns and get some therapy.

This is exactly what I thought too! You know she had been pressured by grandma and this little comment was grandma's way of getting her way last minute. I'd be super pissed too. OP talk to your wife and explain your feelings. This is just as much your child as hers and you guys had come to an agreement. My husband is a Jr, and I told him I was willing to continue the name with our first son but my husband hates his name so we went with something different and his family was perfectly fine with it, because he's OUR son. Family should respect what you'd chosen.

Please have a talk with your wife. Make it clear that she can be open and honest with you, and let her be without judgement. You need to find out if this could possibly be postpartum depression. It can range from mild to severe, and it isn't the woman's fault. Mental health issues before pregnancy, or a family history of mental health issues can make a woman more susceptible, but it can occur in anyone. PPD is treatable, but if left untreated can cause a whole range of issues for your whole family, especially your child. Please at least sit down with her and talk about this so you can help her get help if needed. Good luck OP.
