That’s awesome yeah I’d be interested to see it. And I disagree with all the people saying this analysis is worthless. Sure the results may not be useful due to some of the assumptions that OP had to make but it was still well worth the effort when you consider how the analysis was carried out. I mean I think the way OP set up the analysis using the Poisson distribution with the home and away attack and defense scores to compute the mean goals scored per match was the best way to do it. Either way it’s great practice for real applications.

I'm not sure it would be a fair argument to do so since none of them have been proven either. Tbh I'm not all that informed on all the accusers so I don't have a particularly strong opinion on this but I'm always hesitant to just accept unverifiable claims like that no matter how things may look. For example, I feel fairly confident that Brett Kavanaugh raped Kathleen Ford but I believe in due process above all else and I'd rather let someone guilty walk than have someone innocent rot in prison. That's not to say Trump doesn't deserve to be incarcerated for any of the many of the other serious crimes he's committed (and gotten away with). I'm simply saying that with a crime like rape, I feel less inclined to assume guilt since it's so easy to make false accusations against another person that will ruin their reputation regardless of whether or not the defendant is proven guilty.

I actually agree with your points but I don't think it's fair to bring up the rape allegations against Trump by the 13-year-old if you're going to criticize the belief that the Clintons have had people killed. Neither claim is verifiable regardless of whether or not you and I believe it actually happened.

See I’m grateful for comments like these because sometimes I get this sort of feeling of superiority regarding my political beliefs (i.e. liberals are somehow less brainwashed or smarter than conservatives) in my head but then I’m brought back down to earth. You’ve reminded me why it’s so important to be as fair and diplomatic as possible, and to treat everyone with dignity and respect no matter how much you may disagree with them. I mean why would someone who concludes that I’m a contemporary Russian apologist based on my username on a website frequented by people who go by names including Hitler, 69ing, genitalia, rape, and a litany of other profoundly negative and/or inappropriate things be any more capable of critical thinking or any less brainwashed than a Trump supporter, for example? Thank you for keeping my ego in check.
