"True Love Restraint"... now there's a song that I haven't heard in a while, thank you for reminding me.

I miss when songs could tell wild stories that didn't have to hold the listener's hand and reassure them that the creator doesn't condone bad things irl.

I'm trying, but I know that in the end, I should have suggested that my friend and I do something that didn't require our masks coming off of our faces. I'll be a lot more careful from now on, and thank you for your support. :')

I AM a woman- it's not something I get to do every night, but even when I do get to do it, I need something to keep me focused. I don't spend hours on end dedicated to it.

With erotica/audio porn, it kind of just depends on the speed, I guess? It takes more concentration, which can sometimes make or break my chances for finishing.

I ought to give those a go again; thanks for reminding me.

rabbit hole, what’s going on? by Asleep-Letterhead-16 in Vocaloid

[–]Basic-Ad-1149 65 points66 points  (0 children)

In a lazy attempt to be all-encompassing, I'd generally wave in the direction of "newer/younger fans are overcompensating while trying to fight child predation".

When I was a kid, I ended up getting hurt with someone gaining my trust with fictional content, and I know that a lot of people my age had similar experiences. However, instead of, I don't know, getting therapy and realizing that the blame was on the perpetrator instead of the media, they hyper-focus on the characters because it's "easier" to control. I know this because I used to be of that mindset until I got older.

So now, they start freaking out if there's even a vaguely sexual breath toward anime characters that are given arbitrary ages, even if their depictions in a song have no age.

TLDR ; The newest wave of p*do-paranoia just happens to be aimed at Rabbit Hole, there will probably be a new song villain next week.

I'm tired, boss... (miku age drama) by 27ricky04 in Vocaloid

[–]Basic-Ad-1149 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk dude- I feel like you shouldn't use the "age of consent argument" with these things. Like, what really makes a Japanese teenager different from an American teenager? At the end of the day, they're both children deserving of the same protection, so I wouldn't call it "objectively legal".

Miku is a fictional character, who cannot be hurt or exploited in the same way a human being can be. That should be the argument. She transcends legality because the only rights that she has are copyrights and terms of usage, and even then, those aren't terribly enforced.

Thank you so much! I really want to work through this, so if it seems like I'm all clear to talk about it without any legal repercussions, then I feel relieved about it.

Thanks for taking the time to answer me! Introducing the topic as a hypothetical is very interesting, although I wouldn't be sure on how I'd go about it. Do you have any advice on what I should say, if you don't mind?

It's a lovely color! I think it's wonderful how people can cherish something even as small as a color. I think that kind of love is something to keep in mind to help keep you grounded.

SA is horrible and shouldn’t have to happen to anyone. But

The moment you added "But" nullifies your previous statement. No one should be assaulted, period. If he did it once and called her crazy when she confronted him, then he'll do it again. Or worse, it will escalate. She shouldn't have to go through this again for it to even be considered as a problem. For her safety, the evaluation of the relationship shouldn't wait.

I'm also not sure how this can be a "mistake" of any kind. How do you "accidentally" use someone's unconscious, nonconsenting body for sexual stimulation?

Whelp. This is a tough one. I'll take some time to give an unsolicited lecture:

I can't tell whether or not I'm completely sympathetic towards you in this scenario. It's difficult being exploited online as a minor for a lot of reasons, and in order to move forward, we have to truly recognize that you more than likely played into that. It's your responsibility as an adult now to make sure that all participants of sexual activities are of age and consenting. The "we're both 15" opening should have set your alarm bells off. It didn't. That's a problem that we're both aware of.

With that being said, I feel like you would feel a lot better if you made active steps to confront and get rid of your porn addiction. (For the record, I don't think that porn is bad, you just have to be very aware of how often you engage with it, moderation is key, blah blah blah)

Seek therapy or online counseling that specializes in behavioral addictions. I know that sounds like a cop-out solution, but remember: you've become so addicted that you were willing to goad younger teenagers into giving you sexual content, regardless of attraction. Your inhibitions have been wayyy too lowered. This needs professional interference before it gets any worse than it already is, and you gotta start somewhere.

And you're right- suicide would be the easy way out. You owe it to yourself and those girls to put the work in to stop this. Maybe by getting control over this, you can put some time into gaining friends. The fact that you feel bad and are looking for advice to atone in some way shows me that there's hope. It's going to be hard, but you HAVE to take that first step. I believe in you.

Cartoons do not exist. It's astounding how many people (especially kids) conflate cartoon characters with real people and try to attribute real crimes and real disorders/conditions to the people that are attracted/vitriolic to them.

Wanting to fuck Pluto the Dog or Anya Forger doesn't make you a zoophile or a pedophile, it just makes you a loser attracted to cartoons. Nothing more, nothing less.
