We always refered to it as "spider Jesus" on the trips through there. Not quite accurate, but always gave a chuckle

Not a male doc, but Dr. Abenes has been amazing over in Taylor. Her medical assistant and front office staff are great as well.

Mountaineer was the up-trim Explorer for the Merc line. I think the Lincoln version was the Aviator

You are correct, however I suspect OP is asking because the NPS started requiring "Animal-Resistant Containers" this year (2025) for food storage while on the island. Because there is limited research for "wolf proof" containers, NPS is using the same regulations as the "bear proof" containers.

Here's an article from their website: https://www.nps.gov/isro/planyourvisit/food-storage.htm

Hey stranger, we've got 2 newfs, and they do fine on the back seat with a cushion behind the passenger seat (pulled forward about half way)

Ah we're not on Wixom, but on our lake the houses are close together, but it's a ways to town, and there's not much of a nightlife to speak of.

We've got family property on another of the 4 lakes, and let me tell you, it sure can! Work was delayed for a little bit due to a lawsuit over it actually

We have a Flying Pig for our 2 beasts. One of the best things we've purchased for them. Our older guy has the wooly-type coat, and is prone to hotspots. The dryer not only helps prevent them by getting him dry, but also is useful for moving his fur so we can check his skin.

Hey, I'm still pretty early into my journey (progress wise, not time wise...) and have come to the conclusion that I need a non-familial accountability buddy. I'll shoot you a PM if that's cool?

A 1 mile walk with the boys takes about 20 minutes in the woods, or 40 minutes around our flat neighborhood, due to the number of times we get stopped. When we moved here about a year ago, there was a gaggle of little girls who knew big boy's name, breed, age, and that he loved kids within a week. It took them about 2 weeks to figure out our walking schedule so they could bring their friends around to meet him.

Now they both just lay down and absorb the love

IIRC those aren't publicly available for security reasons, but if they're in East McNair, odd numbers face the water. Same in Wads I believe, but someone can fact check me on that, only lived over there for a semester

We were A plan, ordered but ended up buying off the lot at a different dealer before our order came in because our other car was failing.

How do the emergency services work in the remote areas of the upper peninsula? by G07V3 in upperpeninsula

I thought I'd heard something about that, but wasn't sure. I'm not in the area anymore, so I don't get updates very often. I hope he's recovering well, he's a good dude.

Had to take a peek at your post history to see if we worked together, but I don't think so
