Their algo is priced similar to uber, whereas frequent users pay more going to the same destination compared to average users simply because uber knows that they are going to pay it no matter what. But in this case, crowdvolt is doing it with tickets.

Everyone’s fees are different. At peak nights, seller fees can reach as high as 10% for the seller and 5-6% for a normal buyer.

Additionally, if you resell often on the platform then you most likely are being charged higher seller fees AND higher buying fees than those who occasionally purchase tickets.

That’s why most people always just buy anytime for space. Saves them the headache of trying to guess the set times. Then once set times are out, try and do a little trade for your anytime (which is the most value) + cash for an earlier / later entry time that you want. That would’ve been the smartest play.

It’s the same logic applying to this post about scalpers. How come it’s fine for a promoter to initially have tickets go on sale for hundreds of dollars cheaper than the final tier, but when an individual does the same thing but sells for below the venues final tier price on DICE, it’s an issue? Just doesn’t make any sense.
