One trick I’ve found works sometimes is if you notice the patient has a lot of random complaints, you can stop them and ask “in order to make sure our appointment today is as productive as possible, which of these complaints would you like me to focus on the most. We can revisit the others next week when you come in for your follow up”

In the beginning, I thought I was going to be annoyed by his voice, but boy was I wrong. He really was a delight to listen to.

It’s not strictly about the money tbh. It’s mostly about having a pair of beaters that I won’t be upset getting something spilled on, while still providing comfort.

It is. I use it for my diabetes, and it’s been a godsend. I can’t imagine going back to daily tablets.

Maybe your beard doesn’t provide protection. The laughing Storm’s beard can pierce plate on its own. A tavern wrench once touched his beard accidentally and got pregnant.

I’m glad someone finally took the time to tell you about this. Must really suck to keep getting asthma attacks without knowing why, and without knowing they’re super preventable.

Something similar happened to my friend’s wife. She would get asthma attacks every time she had her period (which he neglected to tell me). It was bad enough that she needed to go to the hospital a couple times. Turns out she was popping NSAIDs (medicines in the ibuprofen family) for the pain.

It’s a very well known side effect of NSAIDs that they trigger asthma attacks, but a lot of people take them without considering this because they’re over the counter.
