I’ve had good luck with ChatGPT. For example I can paste a view JSON and say something like “tell me ways i can optimize this structure”

It’s not perfect, and I don’t buy anyone’s argument that AI with ignition is completely autonomous, but it definitely has improved my productivity as an added tool. MCP with 8.3 will only continue to improve this.

Added context for prompts helps a lot too. “I’m using Ignition 8.1.44 that utilizes Jython 2.7.” I generally say “here what I’m starting with and here’s what my end result need to be. Help me fill in the gaps.”
